Brisbane Racing Club meeting update - Saturday, May 31

Racing Queensland advises that the remainder of today’s Brisbane Racing Club meeting at Eagle Farm today has been abandoned.
The abandonment decision was made following persistent heavy rainfall and visibility concerns.
The Group 3 Fred Best Classic will be run at Doomben on Wednesday over 1350m.
The Group 1 Kingsford Smith Cup, Group 1 Queensland Derby and Listed Helen Coughlan Stakes will now be staged as part of a 10-race “Super Saturday” on June 7 in conjunction with Queensland Oaks Raceday.
To accomodate the three rescheduled races from Derby Day, the Benchmark 90 Handicap and Class 6 Handicap will be run at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club on Sunday, June 8.
