OWN THE MORNING SERIES
"Own the Morning" is an upcoming event hosted by Racing Queensland, offering a unique behind-the-scenes tour of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sales complex. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussions about thoroughbred racing in Queensland and Australia with owners, breeders, trainers, and industry participants, all while enjoying a morning coffee.
Previously, this event highlighted the experiences of Gai Waterhouse AO, an esteemed figure in Australian racing. Waterhouse conducted an exclusive tour of several notable breeding farms in South-East Queensland as a prelude to the Magic Millions event in Jan 2023. The series documenting this tour can be viewed here.
Participants in the "Own the Morning" event will have the chance to hear about the yearlings presented at the upcoming sales from some of Queensland's legendary breeders, much like Waterhouse's experience.
