Form Analysis: Redcliffe June 26

RACE 1 

SWIFTIE (2) showed some gate speed last start before ending up leaders back. Looked to have every chance to win that race and just found two better in the end. This race looks a lot easier and she should be very hard to beat.

BERRYLICIOUS (6) has been racing reasonably in NSW for a race of this nature. Draws poorly which appears to set her a tough task.

BOSTON FIRE (5) was a good effort last start when running home nice sectional times his last start. Looks to have a tough task getting into the race from a wide gate but cant be ruled out.

GIRAFFA (1) made mistakes in both of its race starts. Looks to gain a really suitable draw to follow of the fancies in the race.

RACE 2 

TACTICAL ILLUSION (1) showed gate speed last start to find the front. She was narrowly beaten late by Gameova who was on debut and looks to be a horse with good ability. If she runs the same race she did last start she should be too good this time.

LITTLE WHIPPET (8) ran a place in what appeared a strong maiden two starts ago won by Opallane a horse that has shown good ability so far in his career. Appears to find a race and draw where he won’t need do any work early and can be running on late.

SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (7) wasn’t beaten far last start in what appeared a race with some depth. This looks much easier and draws to do no work early in this race.

JUST PINNY (4) trialled nicely recently running home a fast last quarter for this type of race. Can be thereabouts despite an awkward draw.

RACE 3

JAZZMIN (2) looks to have reasonable gate speed and brings in solid NSW form into this race. If she can do enough to find the front in this race she is likely to be hard to beat. There does appear to be some gate speed drawn out wider which might mean she needs to work in the early stages.

MISS SERENDIPITY (4) has been running fairly in this type of grade not too far away late. Trialled reasonably recently behind My Ultimate Zander. Has gate speed and shouldn’t be too far away late.

MAN OF ACTION (5) is a gate speed horse but does look to find a race where there is plenty of gate speed drawn underneath him here. Worked very hard last start to get into the race and was only narrowly beaten late by a horse that had done no work.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (9) ran well two starts ago for second behind Emmaleen in a race that was run to suit horses coming from back in the field. He then bumped into a stronger race and wasn’t beaten too far last start.

RACE 4 

VINNIE NITRO (1) has been going around at long odds this horse her last few starts. Her latest effort was extremely impressive when powering into the race last from a long way back to not be beaten far at all. She is likely to be close to the speed from a great draw and can break through for another win.

ILLBEWATCHING (9) scored a good win three start ago at this track before running a good second two starts ago. He is versatile in this type of grade and can be put into the race.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (10) made a mistake two starts ago when tailed out. He bounced back last start running a solid fourth. His second five starts ago at this track and trip would be enough to see him in the finish off this race.

RIGHTYO (7) ran well last start after leading beaten by Our Lucy Lou in what appeared a strong enough race. Should get a good run through in the early stages and can be in the finish with even luck.

RACE 5

TAYLORS FOUR (1) has been in impressive form since joining the John McMullen stable. She wasn’t suited last start when getting a long way back at Marburg in what became a dash home. Her run prior was impressive when sitting without cover and battling on strongly for second not beaten far. 

SPLASHNDASH (5) scored another good win at a track he needs to like Marburg when squeezing into the clear at the top of the straight and running on over the top. He has high speed and is fairly versatile in this type of grade. Can be in the finish again.

IGNITE THE FIRE (8) was suited by a strong tempo three starts ago when running over the top to score. She was then good two starts ago at Albion Park before not having much luck from a wide gate last start.

EPIC ORION (7) should get a good run through in the early stages of this race. Scored a solid win in Victoria three starts ago and shouldn’t be far away from the draw.

RACE 6 

MISSED CONSEQUENCES (1) has very good gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead this field. She hasn’t been far away in recent outings without being able to win. She led last start and wasn’t beaten far by Tiger Tommy and she may be suited by the step back to the 1780.

JIVE MASTER (7) took on a stronger race last start taken out by Its A Pleasure. He worked hard early there before sitting without over and battled on nicely to be beaten just 7 metres.

IMA BEACH BABE (5) was third three starts ago before having little luck in her latest races. She started from a wide gate last start at Albion Park and jusrt couldn’t get into the race there.

UNCLE CRAIGO (2) sat without cover last start and proved too strong there at this track. This looks a great draw for him in this race where he can do a bit less work to find a position early.

RACE 7

DEEBO (1) ran well last start to score. Landed a good trip in the running line last start and finished best to score there. He has reasonable early speed and with the aid of gate 1 at the 2040 start point he might be able to do enough to drive through and lead.

A PERFECT DANCE (7) has placed in her last three starts and appears to be racing well. She is perfectly suited by this draw where she can do no work and follows through on the back of a gate speed horse. Should be right in the finish.

HASTY BID (5) ran on well into third last start after being badly held up at a crucial stage. He is generally best when driven quietly early and saved for one run which may see him get a long way back early and rely on a solid early tempo.

B MAC C (8) got a long way back last start at Marburg in a race they dashed home a quick last half. He appears well placed in this company and should get a good run in this race however it plays out early.

SUGGESTED BET: DEEBO (1) to win.

RACE 8

FOUR FEATHERS (1) has good gate speed and should be able to do enough to hold the lead early. Last time he drew this gate he elected to take a trail but over the shorter 1780 journey he may be given his chance out in front.

DREAM MELODY (9) was a good winner three starts ago over the 2040 journey. She draws favourably and can sprint strongly off a soft run which she looks likely to get from this draw. Would appreciate a solid early tempo for her to run on late.

PLANET DOWNS (7) looks likely to secure a very good run through in the early stages on the back of the likely leader Four Feathers. Wasn’t beaten far last start in a strong restricted wins race behind Misterpresident.

OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (6) was a strong winner two starts ago over Pretty Little Liar at this track. Draws a wide gate here but can be running onh again.

RACE 9

SMARTER THAN YOU (6) is the clear standout in this race on class. He returns from a spell and trialled up moderately recently at Albion Park. Two starts ago he was third behind Kash Tin at Albion Park in fast time for this grade.

TWILIGHT TANGO (8) sat without cover last start and scored an impressive win. She looks to get a good run through at the start of this race and if the race is run to suit she can be finishing it off well.

SHARP AS CAMM BE (2) has good gate speed and may look for the lead in the early stages. She led last start after starting a short priced favourite and didn’t quite run up to market expectations finishing fourth. Can bounce back.

BRONX (7) starts from an awkward draw in this race inside the back row. Has shown promise since landing in QLD and could figure in the minor money if the gaps appear at the right time.
