RACE 1

MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (1) has good early speed and at the 2040 start point should be able to drive through and lead them up in this race. He worked off the gate last start and ran well at this track and trip in solid overall time for the grade of 1.58.3. He should be hard to beat in this race.

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (7) has been racing well without a great deal of luck in recent outings. Was pulled wider on the track last start when the speed went on and he just found it too tough there to get into the race. He should get a good run through at the start.

JACCKA COOPER (8) has options in the early stages of the race having drawn two on the back row likely to get a good run whether he stays off the fence or heads to the pegs. He has scored 2 wins in his last 5 starts and is seemingly racing quite well.

OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (5) draws wide in this race but drew wide last start in a similar type of race and wasn’t beaten far there behind Theresachance. If she gets the tempo to suit she should be running on late.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (1), BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (7), JACCKA COOPER (8), OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (1) to win.

RACE 2

RISK TAKER (6) two starts ago took on a strong race at Albion Park taken out by Our Goat where he ran on strongly into third. He looks well graded in this race and will be hoping for a strong early tempo to allow him to be running into the race late.

KASH US BACK (8) was a winner five and six starts ago rating fast time for this grade. Took on a stronger race last start taken out by In Excess who rated a 1.53.9 mile rate and he was beaten just 5.8 metres in eighth. He should get a good run from the draw.

HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2) last raced in a heat of the Trot Rods series where he proved too good in late May. He returns in this race following a trial win in good time at this track behind Boston Chief. He is likely to get a good run from the good draw and should be hard to beat again.

BETTOR CULLECT (9) hasn’t started since the Qbred Trial Final in August last year where she was well beaten behind smart mare Rylee Rhayne Bow. She ran well in a recent trial when sitting without cover and proving too good in moderate time.

SELECTIONS: RISK TAKER (6), KASH US BACK (8), HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2), BETTOR CULLECT (9)

SUGGESTED BET: HOLD ONTO YA BLING (2) each way.

RACE 3

ZAC DANIELS (4) has been racing in good form having scored two wins in his last five starts as well as a good second behind Tiger Tommy at Albion Park. He wasn’t suited last start when getting back in the run and being forced to race wide in the quickest part of the race.

MILLIEWOOD (8) was able to score recently in what became a dash home closing best to get over the top. She looks likely to get a good run in the race following through early and being saved up for one run at them again in this race which seems to be how she is best suited.

VINTAGE EDITION (9) ran fourth last start at this track behind Studleigh Mark in good time for the grade. Looks better suited in this race and draws a better gate here on the back row which is likely to allow him to settle closer in the run.

SO MANY MOMENTS (7) has placed in her last 5 outings and is racing very well. She doesn’t look ideally suited draw inside the back row as more of a rolling type but does follow out a horse that has good gate speed and shouldn’t be far away in the run.

SELECTIONS: ZAC DANIELS (4), MILLIEWOOD (8), VINTAGE EDITION (9), SO MANY MOMENTS (7)

SUGGESTED BET: ZAC DANIELS (4) to win.

RACE 4

BETTING JEWEL (5) has been knocking on the door to break through for another victory with a number of recent placings to her name. She sat without cover last start and appeared to have them beaten before Scruffy flashed through late and was able to overrun he. She draws wide in this race but looks one of the hardest to beat.

STUDLEIGH MARK (6) was able to zip off the gate last start lead and scored a dominant win in an indication he might be back to somewhere nearer his best form. He draws widest in this race and may have a difficult task getting into the race from out there.

GOT THE GLOW (8) three starts ago was a good run behind Arendelle at Albion Park.

DIEGO DELGADO (1) has been much improved in recent outings having scored two wins in his last 5 outings. He draws best in this race and does have fairly good gate speed which should give him options.

SELECTIONS: BETTING JEWEL (5), STUDLEIGH MARK (6), GOT THE GLOW (8), DIEGO DELGADO (1)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 5

DON’T FEAR FOR ME (4) sat without cover last start and finished nicely to score despite doing all the work. They rated solid time for the 2040 journey and he appeared to have over raced quite significantly in that race. If he settles better and can secure a good run in this race he should be in the finish again.

GRIGORA (6) was running on strong late last time out and just missed there at this track. He may be forced to work forward again in this race and do the work from the wide draw but showed he is capable of doing that last start and still being there at the finish.

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (5) led two starts ago and won well after controlling things in the early stages. Ran well again last start after starting from a poor draw and making up plenty of late ground.

MISTER DELWIN (9) was able to zip across and nab the position on the leaders back last start which allowed him to run a good second there. He is unlikely to secure such a good run in this race from the back row draw but is racing well.

SELECTIONS: DON’T FEAR FOR ME (4), GRIGORA (6), ABSOLUTELY STOKED (5), MISTER DELWIN (9)

SUGGESTED BET: GRIGORA (6) to win.

RACE 6

WHYKIKAMOOCOW (2) nabbed the perfect run on the leaders back behind Lovin Miss Dixie last start and finished too well to score. He looks likely to find the pegs again in this race drawing outside of a moderate beginner and will have options from there over the 2040 journey.

VICTREE CHARLIE (1) should secure a good run on the pegs in this race despite not possessing much gate speed. He is a horse with plenty of ability and is seemingly gradually beginning to put it all together more regularly doing things right in his races.

ROCKSNGEMS (6) led two starts ago and scored a dominant win there when putting up a big margin on rivals late. Wasn’t suited last start when getting back in a race they rated good time. Has options from the wide draw in what looks suitable company.

GALVARINO (7) was a winner two starts ago leading all the way at this track behind subsequent Albion Park winner Sports Bounty there. He draws well and can be running on late if he gets into the clear at the right time.

SELECTIONS: WHYKIKAMOOCOW (2), VICTREE CHARLIE (1), ROCKSNGEMS (6), GALVARINO (7)

SUGGESTED BET: WHYKIKAMOOCOW (2) to win.

RACE 7

FRANCS FOR COMING (2) took on a strong trial recently taken out by the much better performed Hold Onto Ya Bling in a 1.57.8 mile rate. He has good early speed and might be able to work to the lead in this race which is a position he has raced well in previously and can do so again in this race should he get a cheap enough lead early.

FIGHT TO THE END (5) draws widest in this race which appears to set him a difficult task. He faced on the pegs last start and was unsuited in that race in what was a dash home being held up. He can work forward race up on speed and should be in the finish.

KEAYANG MOSCATO (8) was first up in the state last start racing first up from a spell and got a long way back in the race after starting from a wide gate. It became a dash home there and was impossible having got so far back. Looks better suited in this race from an improved draw.

MARRAZANO (6) did all the work last start and was well beaten behind Tough Fighter and Victree Charlie. Is this up from a spell in this race and should be nearing peak fitness despite the wide gate shouldn’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: FRANCS FOR COMING (2), FIGHT TO THE END (5), KEAYANG MOSCATO (8), MARRAZANO (6)

SUGGESTED BET: FRANCS FOR COMING (2) to win.

RACE 8

EBONY BELLE (6) has done a few things wrong in recent outings which has proved costly to her chances. She made a break at the start last time out after attempting to follow through on the back row. She jumps back onto the front row here and might be able to roll forward in the early stages.

SHEZAMATERIALGIRL (8) was a dominant winner two starts ago leading all of the way at Albion Park. She draws the back row here which doesn’t look ideally suitable given her good early speed. Can be running on late if the race is run to suit.

MATAI REACTOR (7) should get a great run through on the back of a gate speed horse in this race Jilliby Panda. He hasn’t won for some time but is rarely far away when getting the right run in this type of company.

JILLIBY PANDA (1) is a gate speed horse that will have options from the good gate. Four starts ago he obtained a good run leaders back on Diamond Deano and was narrowly beaten there late. Can look to do similar in this race.

SELECTIONS: EBONY BELLE (6), SHEZAMATERIALGIRL (8), MATAI REACTOR (7), JILLIBY PANDA (1)

SUGGESTED BET: EBONY BELLE (6) to win.

Slide9_25.png

RACE 9

BOKHARI (8) was a dominant winner three starts ago at this track in arguably slightly stronger company. He is versatile in this type of company and can be put into the race if the opportunity presents. Looks hardest to beat.

FEELIN FLIRTY (5) was making late inroads In one of the Young Drivers Championship races over the 2138 at Albion Park. He has good early speed and might be able to work into a good position in this race.

DEEP REGRET (3) is a horse that can do plenty wrong. He is third up in this race and if he brings his best manners he should be thereabouts.

FANCY LIKE BARBIE (9) was able to secure the run leaders back last start and just wasn’t able to pick up the leader and winner Mucho Guapa. She struggles to win but should be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: BOKHARI (8), FEELIN FLIRTY (5), DEEP REGRET (3), FANCY LIKE BARBIE (9)

SUGGESTED BET: FEELIN FLIRTY (5) to win.

RACE 10

ETERNAL BLISS (1) took on a strong trial recently taken out by Wontyoustaywithme and stablemate Yoursospecial. She has previously led at this track and was beaten by Timmyteo who went on to win a better race following that maiden win over Fight For Victory. This looks easier and she is likely to prove hard to beat.

ROCKNREASON (8) trialled up smartly recently in a trial taken out by FFA regular and Inter Dominion runner Hot And Treacherous. She was well beaten in the trial but came across the line with a few capable horses and that looks a good indication she will be thereabouts on debut.

NIGHT NEEDS (5) draws wide in this race and doesn’t look a winning chance but has been racing well enough to suggest he could be running on into the money somewhere off a solid fifth last start.

MAGYVA (8) appeared to get a dream run through last start at this track and just wasn’t quite able to finish that race off. Should be better for that outing and can be thereabouts in this race.

SELECTIONS: ETERNAL BLISS (1), ROCKNREASON (8), NIGHT NEEDS (5), MAGYVA (8)

SUGGESTED BET: ETERNAL BLISS (1) to win.
