Ipswich Turf Club meeting abandoned

Racing Queensland advises that the Ipswich Turf Club race meeting tomorrow, Sunday, July 27, has been abandoned.
The decision has been made after the determination that there is no potential for the track to be suitable for racing on tomorrow following heavy rainfall today and the venue having encountered more than 60mm of rain this week.
There is unfortunately no possibility that the meeting can be rescheduled given the club already has a race meeting programmed for Thursday, July 31.
As a result, RQ will now carefully consider alternative programming options within SEQ over the next week.
