RACE 1

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (5) has early speed and has been racing well but does draw wide in this race. If she was able to zip across to the lead she would likely become the horse to beat in this race.

GHOST TRAIN (8) wasn’t suited last start when forced to do the work outside of Dont Fear For Me. Should get a good run through early and be there at the finish if the race is run to suit.

SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (2) has moderate early speed and draws to advantage over her key rivals in this race. She has had a gap between runs which is somewhat of a query. If she is ready to go she should be hard to beat.

TEACHERS PET (10) wasn’t suited last start getting back off a moderate tempo. Looks likely to be better suited in what looks a more moderate race where there could be a more genuine early tempo.

SELECTIONS: ABSOLUTELY STOKED (5), GHOST TRAIN (8), SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (2), TEACHERS PET (10)

SUGGESTED BET: ABSOLUTELY STOKED (5) to win.

RACE 2

DIEGO DELGADO (2) loomed into the race strongly last start before peaking on his run and fading out of it late. This looks a much more favourable set up for him where he can look to lead and should be hard to run down.

ROYAL PRINCESS (3) was first up from a spell last time out and is likely to have derived plenty of benefit from that run. She should get a good run working across early and can be a big improver.

ARTISTIC SAINT (4) wasn’t far away last start when racing on the pegs behind the leader. He gains a front row draw this time but does draw outside a few horses with good early speed. May be forced to do the work.

MERRY JEWEL (9) was a good winner three starts ago after securing the perfect run on the leaders back. Looks likely to secure a similarly economical run in this race.

SELECTIONS: DIEGO DELGADO (2), ROYAL PRINCESS (3), ARTISTIC SAINT (4), MERRY JEWEL (9)

SUGGESTED BET: DIEGO DELGADO (2) to win.

RACE 3

ERASMUS (1) should be able to do enough to lead in this race given the inside draw at the 2040 start point. His last win came when sitting outside the leader over the 2040 and proved too good there winning impressively. A similar effort would see him hard to beat.

FLY BURRA (7) should get a good run through at the start on the back of Erasmus. He was a narrow winner three starts ago at Marburg over Team Sport who has since won again.

ONE CHAIN ROAD (2) was first up from a spell last start and ran a good second. He should derive benefit from that first up effort and should be hard to beat second up from a good draw.

SHADYS DELIGHT (8) will have options in the early stages as to whether he ducks onto the pegs or elects to stay in the running line. He should get a good run either way and looks well graded.

SELECTIONS: ERASMUS (1), FLY BURRA (7), ONE CHAIN ROAD (2), SHADYS DELIGHT (8)

SUGGESTED BET: ERASMUS (1) to win.

RACE 4

DREAM MELODY (5) showed good gate speed last start and was only just reeled in late by Shes In Line. She steps back to the 1780 and gains a good front line draw. If she can launch across to the lead she is likely to prove hard to catch.

LYDIAS ART (2) might be able to zip across to the lead then will have options from there whether she elects to hold the lead or hand over to a horse like Dream Melody. She was solid last start over the 2200 at Marburg and may be better suited in this race.

MISSTREPO (6) is a horse that’s always been capable of doing a bit of work in her races and will need to go again in this given she has drawn widest as a result of her recent error at the start. She should be thereabouts in what looks an easier race.

SHEREACTS (7) looks one of the clear standouts in this race on class but does draw inside the back row where she isn’t ideally suited. She will need luck but can figure if that luck comes.

SELECTIONS: DREAM MELODY (5), LYDIAS ART (2), MISSTREPO (6), SHEREACTS (7)

SUGGESTED BET: DREAM MELODY (5) to win.

RACE 5

SINGER SNAP (1) should have the speed to lead early. She has always seemed to go best when able to find the pegs and her last win came when leading all the way at Marburg. Should get every chance.

SHAKATIE (7) was a big improver last start when able to run into third. She looks likely to secure a perfect run through on the back of Singer Snap and with the sprint lane in should get her chance late.

VERMONT (2) drops a long way in grade off some of her better efforts. She should get a good run from a good gate and can prove hard to hold out.

ROCCO VARIETY (8) has options in the early stages of this race whether he dives for the pegs or stays in the running line. Should get a good run either way.

SELECTIONS: SINGER SNAP (1), SHAKATIE (7), VERMONT (2), ROCCO VARIETY (8)

SUGGESTED BET: SINGER SNAP (1) to win.

RACE 6

TRACER BULLET (6) has always been capable of doing work in his races and looks to have found a suitable race despite the wide draw. He should be able to push forward lead or sit in the breeze and looks clearly the hardest to beat.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (9) looks to clearly be one of the classier horses in this race. He is first up for over a month which looks a genuine query. If he is ready to go first up he can figure.

JOE CAVALIER (7) has been racing moderately. Draws inside the back row this time and with luck he can be running on late.

TAPTHEKEG (4) might be able to find the fence in this race and if he does can run well. Hasn’t been in peak form but does look to have landed in a suitable race.

SELECTIONS: TRACER BULLET (6), CONVAIR HUSTLER (9), JOE CAVALIER (7), TAPTHEKEG (4)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 7

THAT’S OUR BOY (3) has been impressive in two career starts so far and looks close to a maiden victory. Doesn’t appear to have a lot of gate speed but does have the draw advantage on a few of his key rivals in this race.

STONES (8) zips across to a fairly easy lead last start before fading out of it late after starting favourite. He was seemingly racing quite well driven quietly and hitting the line late and may be afforded another good opportunity to do that in this race. Can bounce back.

GLENEAGLE HUNTER (6) was a good second two runs ago before taking on a tougher race. The wide draw in this race is a big leveller. Can win but will need a few things to go his way in the run.

KEAYANG LACEY (7) was an impressive placing last start behind Nitrator in fast time. She follows out a horse that’s likely to be shuffled back early which makes her task that much tougher.

SELECTIONS: THAT’S OUR BOY (3), STONES (8), GLENEAGLE HUNTER (6), KEAYANG LACEY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: STONES (8) each way.
