Form Analysis: Redcliffe August 20

RACE 1 

VINDICATE (2) ran on strongly into a clear second behind Wamboyinamerica who rated fast time in winning. She generally seems to do her best racing when able to find the right helmet to follow but step back in grade she will have options early.

IGNITE THE FIRE (3) has early speed and may look to press forward and race in a prominent position in this race. Ran well last start following B mac C and running second. A similar effort should see him competitive in a race of this nature. 

GOTTA HAV ME (5) was forced to do the work two starts ago and was well beaten as a result. She appears to be dropping back in grade in this race and should be better suited in this company. Will need the race run to suit but can figure if it is.

IMXTRASPECIAL (8) put in a huge effort to win two starts ago when coming from a long way off the speed to score running a fast last half. He was then unsuited last start getting a long way back in a race that wasn’t run to suit.

RACE 2 

BLUE BLOODZ (1) isn’t a horse blessed with brilliant gate speed but with the aid of the inside at the 2040 start he should be able to drive through and lead this race in the early stages. He has previously won at this trip winning over the 2138 at Albion Park earlier this year. If he is able to lead he should run a good race. 

GRIGORA (7) should get an ideal run through in the early stages on the back of a horse that is likely to want to hold a forward position early. She scored a good win three starts ago sustaining a long run around the field to score over this track and trip. 

SWEET OPTIONS (10) took on a much stronger race last start where they rated good time over the 1660 at Albion Park. She ran a solid second placing three starts ago after securing the right run on the leaders back behind Firebolt. She has had success over this trip previously and her best is good enough for a race of this nature.

GREAT ACHIEVER (3) returned from a spell last start sitting without cover at this track and trip and running a solid third. He should be better for the outing in that race and can find a prominent position up on speed from a reasonable draw.

RACE 3

PRINCE JOY (1) hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent outings and looks a long way back in grade off some of his better efforts. He has moderate gate speed and may be able to do enough to drive through and lead in this race. He generally proves hard to beat when able to find that position.

MY ULTIMATE COSSIE (7) took on a race with seemingly a touch more depth than this one last start and wasn’t beaten far running fourth. He looks likely to secure a good run through early on the back of Prince Joy who is likely to be intent on holding the lead early.

MAHINDI (3) is down in class of some of her better efforts. She was able to hold the lead recently at this track and set a strong tempo just being run down late there. May not be able to find the front this time but should still run well.

FREELANCE DANCER (8) has options in the early stages of this race whether she slides down onto the pegs or elects to stay off in the running line. She was making up strong ground last start in a competitive restricted wins race taken out by Team Sport.

RACE 4 

YANKEE C J (6) took on a much stronger race last start over the 2138 at Albion Park where he got a long way back from a wide draw. He draws wide again in this race but should find this company a lot more suitable. He is versatile in this type of grade and can be put into the race if the tempo permits. 

MADAM WEST (9) is a capable sit sprinter who appears well placed in this race drawing on the back row where she can be saved up for one run at them late. She scored a good last start win after sitting leaders back and showing too much speed late to score. 

MAYWYNS ACE (1) didn’t have a lot of luck last start when able to find the pegs in the early stages in a race won by The Real Rocketman. He draws the inside this time and will have options in the early stages whether he hands over or looks to take them all the way in this race. 

MISS SYRAH (4) worked hard last start to hold the lead early and battled on well late to just be nabbed right on the line by Rainbow Titan. She draws awkwardly this time and does seem to do her best racing when able to find the fence.

RACE 5

BOKHARI (4) has a good front row draw in this race where he may be able to press forward and find the lead in the early stages. He was a dominant winner over the 1780 five starts ago when leading all the way. 

KEAYANG TARA (8) has been racing in good form and appears to be closing in on another victory. She was a good second to Illbewatching over the 2040 a this track and a similar effort would likely see her hard to hold out in this race. 

GOTTA DREAM (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row likely to follow out one of the longer priced runners in the race. He has been racing in good form and battled away nicely last start to score a narrow second.

BEAU STEELE (10) was able to secure a good run behind The Real Rocketman last start and ran a clear second there. Can secure a good run off the speed in this race and should be running on late if the tempo suits.

RACE 6 

MARLVELLOUS MAC (1) has good early speed which has been a big part of his recent wins at this track when he has been able to lead all the way. He lands in another very suitable racing where he should get the opportunity to lead again. If he can repeat his recent efforts he should be hard to beat again. 

LAST TIME JOE (6) has been racing well in veterans company having scored a good recent win when proving too strong for Major Jellis over the 2138. He draws widest in this race but does appear the class the class runner and come overcome the draw if the race is run to suit.

CAPTAINS PICK (4) is fourth up from a spell in this race and should be nearing peak fitness. He enjoys racing over the distance having scored a number of wins at the trip and on class looks one of the standouts in this race. 

MOOPS (2) should be able to tuck in behind the likely leader in this race should get every chance from there. Secured a similar run last start at Albion Park and went to the line without clear running there.

RACE 7

JUST INCREDIBLE (5) took on Fight For Victory and Timmyteo on debut finishing a close up third before being well beaten in a strong race behind Fight For Victory in tough conditions. He looks a standout in this race and should be hard to beat despite drawing wide.  

MULLUM JUDITH (2) has gate speed and may have found a race where she is able to work to the lead in the early stages. If she can find the front she is likely to prove hard to beat in this race.

AUNTY TINY (4) was well beaten in third behind Ride The Highs two starts ago after securing a good run in a race there was plenty of interference. Draws well in this race and looks likely to secure a good run.

MOONSHINE MILLY (9) has shown ability while doing a few things wrong. His latest trial he hit the line nicely late and may be beginning to put things together.

RACE 8

ULTIMATE MIKI (5) was a dominant winner last start in what looked a tougher race. He has gate speed and it looks a race he might be able to work forward and find the front in. If he can work to the lead he will take plenty of catching in this race. 

BUBBA NAY (6) was able to work to the lead in a recent run at this track and scored a dominant victory there leading all the way. He draws outside of his key rival in this race which appears to set him a tough task. 

FIRENSTORM (3) is a capable sit sprinter that has seemingly bounced back into some of his better form this time in. He took on a much stronger race last start and was left without cover there before tiring late but was entitled to given the run he had. Can be running on late. 

HAPPY AS CAN BE (7) was first up from a spell last start when running fourth in a race with more depth than this one. He should be thereabouts again with luck at the right time in this race.
