RACE 1

MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (8) took on a strong field at Albion Park in a race taken out by Hold Onto Ya Bling. This race looks more suitable and he should be running into it late in this race.

BETTING JEWEL (9) has been in good form in recent starts while doing plenty of work in her races. She scored a good win three starts ago when sitting without cover and proving too strong for them. This race doesn’t look much tougher and she should be hard to beat again.

SPLASHNDASH (2) has excellent early speed and may be able to work to the front in this race before having options. He was a good third recent behind Bigger The Bettor at Albion Park in what looked a race with more depth.

TAYLORS FOUR (3) isn’t a mare with a lot of early speed. If she was able to find a forward position in this race she should be hard to beat.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (8), BETTING JEWEL (9), SPLASHNDASH (2), TAYLORS FOUR (3)

SUGGESTED BET: BETTING JEWEL (9) to win.

RACE 2

OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (2) was luckless last start and appeared with a bit more luck she likely would’ve taken out the race she contested last start which followed up a good effort behind the in form Marvellous Mac.

DOO DONT THINK (1) has good early speed and led recently just being run down late and finishing third. He looks to have options in this race from a good draw and should be thereabouts again.

IM BOO (6) draws wide in this race but is capable of doing work in his races and appears well graded in this race. He is likely to push forward and should be right there at the finish.

BRONX (7) should get a good run through early and seems a horse that is speedier than he is tough. If the runs appear at the right time he should be running on late.

SELECTIONS: OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (2), DOO DONT THINK (1), IM BOO (6), BRONX (7)

SUGGESTED BET: OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (2) to win.

RACE 3

TWEEDY (5) scored an impressive win last start working hard in the early stages and still having enough late to hold on. He should derive benefit from that run there and despite the wide draw can be put into the race early and should be hard to catch.

ENGLISH DANCE (9) has been racing well and ran on strongly recently in a race they rated good time at Albion Park taken out by Hold Onto Ya Bling. He looks well placed in this race despite the outside back row draw.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (8) has been a recent improver and appears to be working back towards some of his better form. He has seemingly always been a better horse at the shorter journey and he steps back to this trip in this race.

SHREACTS (1) has the good draw in this and some early speed giving her options from the good draw.

SELECTIONS: TWEEDY (5), ENGLISH DANCE (9), LITTLELIONELJAMES (8), SHREACTS (1)

SUGGESTED BET: TWEEDY (5) to win.

RACE 4

LUKA DONCIC (2) isn’t a horse blessed with brilliant gate speed but does draw to advantage over his key rivals in a race which doesn’t appear to have any brilliant beginners drawn the front row. If he can lead he is the horse to beat.

VINSANITY (6) was disappointing recently when doing a lot of early work and it was noted in the stewards report he would be driven more conservatively in future. He is likely to get a long way back in this race and can be running on late.

RESILIENT (4) was able to find the front last start in a race at Albion Park where they rated solid time. He may find it tougher to find the front this time but is a horse that has shown he is versatile in this type of grade.

KASH US BACK (5) was a winner two starts ago and is in good form at the moment. He should be running on again late.

SELECTIONS: LUKA DONCIC (2), VINSANITY (6), RESILIENT (4), KASH US BACK (5)

SUGGESTED BET: LUKA DONCIC (2) to win.

RACE 5

MY ULTIMATE FELIX (5) took on a much stronger field last start where he led and wasn’t beaten too far finishing midfield. This looks a big drop back in grade in this race and he looks clearly hardest to beat.

FLY BURRA (2) draws outside of a horse that isn’t blessed with brilliant early speed. Should be able to zip across in the early stages and from there will have options.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (4) bounced back last start with a good win. He draws somewhat awkwardly in gate 4 in this race and will be running on again late.

DIEGO DELGADO (7) starts from an awkward gate inside the back row in this race. He didn’t have much luck last start and can bounce back here.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE FELIX (5), FLY BURRA (2), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (4), DIEGO DELGADO (7)

SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE FELIX (5) to win.

RACE 6

JIMMY JOYCE (1) should have the speed to hold in the early stages. He does his best work up on the speed and gets the perfect opportunity to find that position in this race.

HES REGAL (7) should get a good run through in the early stages of this race on the back of Jimmy Joyce. He does his best work when able to find the fence a position which he start from in this race.

ILLBEWATCHING (5) was an impressive recent winner over the 2040 at this track running good time for the grade. He draws wide in this race but does look well graded and should be hard to hold out again.

ROYAL WINKLE (8) appears well graded on some of his better efforts. Looks likely to secure a good run in this race off the speed and should be getting into it late.

SELECTIONS: JIMMY JOYCE (1), HES REGAL (7), ILLBEWATCHING (5), ROYAL WINKLE (8)

SUGGESTED BET: HES REGAL (7) each way.

RACE 7

SHADYS DELIGHT (7) ran very well last start and just fell short behind One Chain Road last start. He draws awkwardly in this race inside the back row but is likely to have derived benefit from the last run and should be hard to beat in this race despite the draw.

LA BOMBA (8) doesn’t have very good form but does make the move to QLD and lands in an in-form stable. She may be a big improver in this race.

MELTON INSULTED (9) hasn’t been at her absolute best in recent outings but does drop right back in grade. She ran an improved race last start when second behind Cheddar Made Beta.

WANDARY DELIGHT (6) wasn’t suited last start when sent around to the breeze in what looked a similar type of race. She has generally gone best when driven for her sit sprint capacity.

SELECTIONS: SHADYS DELIGHT (7), LA BOMBA (8), MELTON INSULTED (9), WANDARY DELIGHT (6)

SUGGESTED BET: SHADYS DELIGHT (7) to win.

RACE 8

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3) has some early speed and might be able to find his way to the front in this race from a good draw. He made a break last start after being checked early and put in a huge effort to run fourth despite all the early ground he lost. He looks hardest to beat.

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (9) found the lead last start from a wide gate over the 2040 at Redcliffe and just got tired late when running third. She is a capable sit sprinter and looks suited off the back row draw where she won’t need to work early.

CRIME TIME (8) returns in this race having not raced since early July. He should get a good run through at the start and generally seems to do his best work up on the speed.

LETS GET SHORTY (6) started from a wide gate last start in a similar race and ran a good third. He faces another wide gate in this race and should be running on again.

SELECTIONS: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3), ABSOLUTELY STOKED (9), CRIME TIME (8), LETS GET SHORTY (6)

SUGGESTED BET: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3) to win.

RACE 9

THATS OUR BOY (5) was luckless last start. He was caught wide early before being short for room at a crucial stage and going roughly. He did well to finish as close as he did and a similar effort should see him very hard to beat in this race.

IM ALBY (3) has gate speed and might be able to find the front in a race he has the draw advantage on his key rivals. He has had a break since leading and running fifth last start in a moderate maiden at Redcliffe. If he is ready to go first up he should be thereabouts.

BOSTON ASSASSIN (9) was an eye catching second two runs ago when making up strong ground to get into the race. He couldn’t back that run up last start when well beaten after getting back in the run and not making much impression late. Can bounce back.

REAL MIKI (8) trialled up reasonably in preparation for this race. With improvement to come from experience at the trials he should be

SELECTIONS: THATS OUR BOY (5), IM ALBY (3), BOSTON ASSASSIN (9), REAL MIKI (8)

SUGGESTED BET: THATS BOY (5) to win.
