RACE 1

PRINCE JOY (3) has early speed and should secure a good run up on speed in this race. He led for a long way last start and was just run down late by My Ultimate Cossie who had the soft run on his back. He looks to be well placed in this company and should be hard to beat.

BEACH MAGIC (1) doesn’t have much early speed but does land in a race where there doesn’t look an abundance of gate speed. He ran well recently at Gatton when runner up to the in-form My Ultimate Cossie.

MY ULTIMATE FELIX (6) led all the way last start scoring a dominant win. He has been impressive since joining the stable of Donny Smith and has shown he is capable of doing work in his races which he may be forced to do in this race.

ZACH LOWE (9) wasn’t beaten far two starts ago when running fifth behind Tough Fighter at this track. He looks well graded in this race and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: PRINCE JOY (3), BEACH MAGIC (1), MY ULTIMATE FELIX (6), ZACH LOWE (9)

SUGGESTED BET: PRINCE JOY (3) to win.

RACE 2

VINDICATE (9) took on a strong Band 5 for the Mares last start which was taken out by Miss Idaho in fast time. She drops back a long way into this race and appears to draw favourably where she can be sat up for one run at them and would be suited by a genuine early tempo.

BETTING JEWEL (6) got back in the run last start and ran over the top after being suited by a strong tempo. She is quite versatile and has shown in recent outings she is capable of working and still being there at the finish.

MUCH BETTOR (1) has good early speed giving him options at the start whether he hands over or looks to take them all the way. He didn’t make much impression last start when getting back in the run but it did appear a stronger race which was taken out by Ultimate Miki.

PENNIE PACKER (7) should get a good run through at the start on the back of a gate speed horse in Much Bettor. She took on what appeared to be a stronger race last start which was taken out by Platinum Jewel at Albion Park.

SELECTIONS: VINDICATE (9), BETTING JEWEL (6), MUCH BETTOR (1), PENNIE PACKER (7)

SUGGESTED BET: VINDICATE (9) to win.

RACE 3

DARETODANCE (7) was running on late last start in a stronger race at Albion Park over the 2138. She should get a good run through early on the back of a gate speed mare. If she gets clear at the right time she should be running into it late.

DIEGO DELGADO (4) was shuffled a long way back on the pegs last start before hitting the line reasonably late behind My Ultimate Felix. He worked hard his start prior and wasn’t beaten too far in fast time for the grade. Draws the front row and should find a good position up on speed.

GRIGORA (5) was a strong winner four starts ago when sweeping home around the outside the score. He appears to land in another winnable race where he should secure a good run off the speed and will just be hoping there it some early tempo on to allow him to run over the top late.

JAY TEE TYRON (2) landed behind the leader who was tiring a long way out and dragged him out of the race. He has been racing reasonably well and shouldn’t be too far away from a good draw in this race.

SELECTIONS: DARETODANCE (7), DIEGO DELGADO (4), GRIGORA (5), JAY TEE TYRON (2)

SUGGESTED BET: GRIGORA (5) to win.

RACE 4

HATTIES JEWEL (1) has good gate speed and should be able to do enough to lead from the good draw. She took on the QBred final 2 starts ago and battled on well considering the class of her opposition including La Derniere, Rylee Rhayne Bow and Ever Art. She appears to be stepping a long way back in grade and is a horse that is generally hard to catch when able to lead.

DREAM MELODY (7) looks likely to get a good run through at the start on the back of a gate speed horse that generally likes to hold a forward position. She is a capable sit sprinter and was able to score a good recent all the way victory at this track when beating Lydias Art who has since won.

ROCK NIEN (8) was left without cover last start before tiring late into third to be beaten 27.9 metres. He steps back to the 1780 and draws favourably where he will have options in the early stages whether he stays off the pegs or looks for the position 3 back the inside.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (3) was left without cover last start at this track before being run down late by English Dance who has been in particularly good form. He draws awkwardly in this race outside of a gate speed horse and may be left to do the work again in this race.

SELECTIONS: HATTIES JEWEL (1), DREAM MELODY (7), ROCK NIEN (8), LITTLELIONELJAMES (3)

SUGGESTED BET: HATTIES JEWEL (1) to win.

RACE 5

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (8) was saved up for one run at them late last start which seems to be a pattern that suits this mare. She closed off strongly but just wasn’t quite able to reel in Williewa Lightning late. She should be suited by a genuine early tempo and can be running on late.

TRACER BULLET (5) broke through for another victory recently at this track when finding the front and leading all the way. He then zipped off the gate nicely and was able to work to the lead at Albion Park just being run down late by Miss Hattie.

EBONY BELLE (2) led recently at this track and was just run down by the horse on her back in Miss Serendipity. She has good early speed and if she can hold a forward position should be thereabouts again.

WANDARY DELIGHT (6) hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent outings. She was left without cover in her past two starts which isn’t a position she has previously been suited to and she’s tired late as a result. If she can secure a more economical run she should be thereabouts late.

SELECTIONS: ABSOLUTELY STOKED (8), TRACER BULLET (5), EBONY BELLE (2), WANDARY DELIGHT (6)

SUGGESTED BET: ABSOLUTELY STOKED (8) to win.

RACE 6

SWEET AGENDA (5) was a dominant winner two starts ago leading all the way in a Band 5 race at Albion Park rating a slick 1.52.4 mile rate. She then took on a much stronger field last start in an Open Class mares race and was well beaten there. She steps back in grade and despite the wide gate should be hard to beat.

CAPTAINS PICK (3) has the draw advantage on key rivals in this race. He isn’t a horse with brilliant early speed usually which could prove key to his chances in this race. He goes well at this track and looks one of the hardest to beat.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (4) led two starts ago in a strong veterans race and wasn’t beaten too far there before taking on another veterans race last start where he was left without cover and tired late but was entitled to. He should secure a good run in this race and can be running on late.

OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (1) worked hard to lead last start and ran a good race when holding off Im Boo late. She has stepped up each run this time in and despite the steep rise in grade here she should be competitive again from gate 1.

SELECTIONS: SWEET AGENDA (5), CAPTAINS PICK (3), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (4), OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (1)

SUGGESTED BET: SWEET AGENDA (5) to win.

RACE 7

ROCKNREASON (3) ran well last start after drawing a wide gate and not being beaten far when running fourth at Albion Park. Doesn’t appear to be a horse with much early speed which could make the draw in 3 a touch awkward. Looks to bring the best form into the race and should be hard to beat.

VEESIGN (8) made a good start to his career with two placings before being forced to do the work two starts ago and just getting tired late behind Our Ultimate Penny. He should get a reasonable run through early in this race and if the race is run to suit he can be running into it late.

GLENEAGLE FIRE (2) draws favourably in this race and drops a long way back in grade off recent outings having taken on the QBred Triad series for the 2YO Filly’s. She should be able to secure a good run and can be thereabouts.

THEFAULTINMYSTARS (5) didn’t have much luck when returning last start after drawing poorly before being checked at a crucial stage in the race. Showed ability last time in and with a bit more luck in running can figure somewhere in the finish.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNREASON (3), VEESIGN (8), GLENEAGLE FIRE (2), THEFAULTINMYSTARS (5)

SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNREASON (3) to win.

RACE 8

THE BLUE WREN (3) has good early speed and may be able to find the front in the early stages. She has won a number of races out in front and looks to be in the right grade in this race to figure in the finish if she’s able to find the front.

DEEP REGRET (1) isn’t a horse with much gate speed so the usually ideal draw may become a slightly tricky one in the early stages. He was good when appearing to hit the line with plenty to give late in a recent placing at this track.

MISS SERENDIPITY (6) was able to secure the run leaders back two starts ago and was good there scoring over Ebony Belle. This race looks a bit tougher and she draws widest which is likely to make things tougher.

LETS GET SHORTY (7) looks to have drawn awkwardly in this race inside the back row following out a horse without a great deal of gate speed. He was a good winner five starts ago and has been racing well since including a good third last start in what appeared a slightly stronger race.

SELECTIONS: THE BLUE WREN (3), DEEP REGRET (1), MISS SERENDIPITY (6), LETS GET SHORTY (7)

SUGGESTED BET: THE BLUE WREN (3) to win.
