Form Analysis: Albion Park September 29

RACE 1 

CALL IT BLING (9) has been unbeaten since returning from a spell scoring three good wins. His latest win came at Redcliffe when working to the lead, controlling the race and proving too good. This appears to be his biggest test so far and he will need to make another step up into this race to take it out and continue his winning sequence.

WESTERN ARTERRA (1) has good early speed and should be able to drive through and lead before having options. He was able to score five starts ago after taking a sit and sprinting too well up the sprint lane. 

SCRUFFY (8) should get a good run through on the back of Western Arterra who is a gate speed horse. He ran on nicely last start behind Eaglespride. He hasn’t raced for nearly a month which looks a query. 

A PERFECT DANCE (2) has very good gate speed but may not be able to cross the horse drawn inside her. She should get a good run and has been racing well.

RACE 2 

SARGEANT (1) ran on strongly last start at Redcliffe and was just run down by a horse that was first up in QLD in Dee Terror. He should be able to lead in this race before having options. His latest win came when leading all the way at Redcliffe and he may look to apply similar tactics.

BAIL DENIED (10) led last start at this track and trip and was just run down by Sporty Zara who has since won again. He trialled well recently not beaten far in fast time and aoppears suited in this company.

UNCLE CRAIGO (9) has been in consistent form in recent starts. He started from a wide gate last start and wasn’t beaten far running fourth. Appears likely to get an easier run through early in this race.

MULLUM DOC (3) was able to lead comfortably last start at Redcliffe and appeared a bit disappointing when running a well beaten fifth. He is likely to have derived benefit from his first two outings this campaign.

RACE 3

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (6) has been racing in good form. She got a long way back last start from a wide gate and never got into the race in what became a dash home.

IDEAL DESIRE (10) was a good second two starts ago when doing all the work at Redcliffe and battling on well. She then did plenty of work again last start and was able to battle on well to finish midfield.

FLY BURRA (3) was caught without cover last start and couldn’t quite reel them in when running fourth. Draws better than the main dangers in this race and may be able to press forward and find a prominent position.

VODKA EN ICE (7) has very good early speed but is first up in this race so there is a fitness query and he may be driven conservatively.

SUGGESTED BET: IDEAL DESIRE (10) to win.

RACE 4 

ROYAL WINKLE (2) has good early speed and looks suited from a low draw over the mile. He should be able to lead and will take plenty of running down. He put in a much better effort last start when running third.

SIX TIMES A LADY (10) was able to finish midfield last start in a race taken out by Little Surfer Girl. She appears to find an easier race and draws to do no work early in the race. 

HIGHNMIGHTY (6) was a good first up winner two starts ago before being caught in an awkward position in a race taken out by Daretodance. Appears to have drawn awkwardly in this race and will need luck.

WHYKIKAMOOCOW (8) was able to lead all the way at Redcliffe last start. He has always been better suited driven with a trail and may be suited from this draw.

RACE 5

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (10) is first up for a new stable in this race and may be an improver. She has good ability and despite the outside back row draw looks suited in this race. She will be relying on the speed being on early. 

FEELIN FLIRTY (6) has good early speed and might be able to launch across at the start. If he can cross early he should be hard to beat having scored his latest wins when leading all the way at Redcliffe.

COPY WRITER (3) was able to secure a good run on the back of Shakatie and ran on into second. She should secure a good run in this race again from a low draw. 

MALIBU DREAM (9) led and got keen at Redcliffe over the 2040 and was run down late by Keayang Tara. Should secure a good run through early and can be hitting the line well again late.

SUGGESTED BET: FEELIN FLIRTY (6) to win.

RACE 6 

GOTTA DREAM (5) was able to find the front last start after working hard early in a quick first quarter. He battled away for a solid second behind Jilliby Panda who’d had a soft run off the speed and was able to run over the top late. 

IDEAL TIGER (10) made a long wide run last start at Redcliffe and wasn’t beaten far. He is a long way back in grade off some his better efforts and if the speed is on he should be running on late.

SIGNOR JUJON (3) was a good second two starts ago behind Gidup Captain when running on strong late. He wasn’t beaten far last start in a similar type of race and if the speed is on he can be running on late.

MELTON SCHLEGER (2) was travelling well last start with nowhere to go at a crucial stage. He may be able to cross in the early stages before having options and could run a race at a price.

SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (3) to win.

RACE 7

AWHOLELOTTAHAPPY (3) was well supported in early betting when on debut before drifting back out late. She is likely to have derived plenty of benefit from that debut outing and finds a much weaker maiden. She should be hard to beat.

FRENCH BUBBLES (4) was a well beaten second behind first up kiwi Shes Allaboutluv. That effort was good enough to see her hard to beat in this race from what is a reasonable draw. She should be running on well late. 

LACEYS LASS (8) is having her fourth run for her new stable and might be nearing peak fitness having also benefited from the experience at the races. She ran well behind Tarantula Tom last start when not beaten far. 

AURELIE (7) has done plenty wrong in both her career starts which has seen her well beaten both times. She has trialled reasonably and if she brings her trial form to the races she should be thereabouts.
