Form Analysis: Redcliffe September 19

RACE 1 

MYNAMESEVAN (1) showed good gate speed in a trial at Marburg and although he didn’t rate fast time for this grade he appeared to do everything fairly easily. He has decent gate speed might be able to drive through early in this race and should be hard to catch. 

KALASA (7) appears likely to get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse. Secured a similar run he is likely to secure in this race two runs ago at Albion Park in much stronger company and he was running on strongly late. He was then forced to do the work last start and battled away well enough.

KUZMA (4) was well beaten last start in a much stronger race behind Mydadsaid. He drew poorly there and got a long way back in the run. He should settle a lot closer in this race and will appreciate the drop in grade. 

COMPETE (3) finds a race which looks a bit easier than the races he has been contesting. He should secure a good run from a low draw and if the race is run to suit he can be running into it late.

RACE 2 

LITTLEMICKEY (7) led them up last start and ran well when taken on strongly through the third quarter running 27.9 before just getting a touch tired late over the 2040. Draws to get a good run on the back of the stablemate in this race and should be hard to hold out. 

RAINBOW TITAN (1) has early speed and may elect to attempt to lead all the way in this race. He has been racing well without a huge amount of luck and strikes a winnable race if he is able to control things out in front.

TIGER TOMMY (9) has been racing very well in recent times. She should get a good run off the speed in this race and if the tempo is on she can be running into it late.

MACS A DUDE (2) was forced to do a lot of work last start through the middle stages when attempting to make a move around them at the 2040 before battling on fairly. He has good early speed and should be close enough in the run.

SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEMICKEY (7) to win.

RACE 3

ART OF ROCK (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse in this race. He has been racing well having run a good second last start and appears close to a win. He has seemingly gone best in the past when following speed and gets that opportunity in this race. 

THE TORQUE EFFECT (6) was able to work to the lead last start at this track over the 2040 and was just run down by OhokaredrobinJujon. Draws awkwardly again in this race and will likely need to do work again at some stage. 

DOC HARVEY (1) showed good early speed last start to work to the top and lead all the way in an easier race. He steps up in grade here and is likely to find this tougher also stepping up to the 2040. Should lead early before having options.

MISS SEREDIPITY (3) is a horse with good early speed and may look to press forward in this race. If she is able to secure an economical run she can be thereabouts late.

RACE 4 

REDS STAR DEAL (3) has good early speed and may be able to press onto the lead in this race from a favourable draw. He has proven successful twice recently leading all the way at this track and trip and can look to do the same again in this race.

MY ULTIMATE COBBER (1) was suited last start by a genuine tempo which allowed him to run on over the top late. He has gate speed and will have options in the early stages of this race. 

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (8) should get a good run off the speed in this race. He is back in grade off some of his better efforts and when racing well he is capable of doing work in this type of grade.

THE TIGER ARMY (4) showed early speed to work to the lead last start and battled on well in a 1.53 mile rate. He draws awkwardly in this race and may need to work again at some stage.

SUGGESTED BET: REDS STAR DEAL (3) to win. 

RACE 5

ROYAL WINKLE (1) has good early speed and will have options at the start of the race. He seemingly isn’t racing at his best at the moment but he has led all the way over the 2040 at this track before and should get every chance.

FILLY THIRTEEN (8) should get a good run through early without having to do too much work. She drew poorly last start at Marburg and couldn’t get into the race there. Can bounce back in this race.

ZACH LOWE (4) draws awkwardly in this race and may be forced to work at some stage. He does appear quite well graded and with the right run in the race he can be thereabouts late. 

TWILIGHT TANGO (7) should get a good run through early on the back of a gate speed horse in Royal Winkle. She has contested some strong restricted wins races and is likely to find this easier than a few of her recent outings.

SUGGESTED BET: FILLY THIRTEEN (8) to win.

RACE 6 

EBONY BELLE (3) has very good early speed and might be able to launch across and lead in this race from a good front row draw. She has had a few good opportunities to win in recent times having led and been run down but does find another suitable race and should get every chance.

SAMMYS SECRET (4) zipped off the gate last start worked hard and battled away well to not be beaten far. He finds a race he looks likely to get forward in again and off last starts effort he should be thereabouts again in what looks a similar level of race. 

FOR NO REASON (5) led last start over racing badly over the 2138 at Albion Park just getting tired late to miss the placings. Looks one of the class runners in the field but there may be some query whether she can get up on speed with a few other horses underneath her likely to want to hold forward positions in the race. 

HIGHWAY WRITER (1) doesn’t have a great deal of early speed so may be dictated to in the early stages of this race. Was crossed last start at Marburg and looked to be travelling well in behind them with nowhere to go in the concluding stages.

SUGGESTED BET: SAMMYS SECRET (4) to win.

RACE 7

IDEAL TIGER (9) was shuffled right back last start from a poor draw at Marburg in a race taken out by October Racketeer. He appears to find a much weaker race and should get a good run into the race coming from off the speed. 

AUNTY FRANCES (5) has very good early speed and finds a suitable race for her to potentially launch across and prove hard to catch. She wasn’t suited last start when appearing to get quite keen racing without cover at this track from the stand start. 

MATAI REACTOR (4) has been hitting the line strongly in recent starts and was able to run a good second last start when running on strongly late. He appears to find a race which should generate good early tempo and can be running into it late. 

TARIFA GIRL (7) should get a reasonable run through early on the back of a horse with moderate early speed. She ran a good third last start behind long priced winner Hoiho at Albion Park after racing on the pegs.

RACE 8

THEFAULTINMYSTARS (1) seems to possess good early speed but has done things wrong from gate 1 previously which does pose somewhat of a query in this race. Each run this time in has been better including a good third last start after doing some work in the run. 

IM ALBY (2) will have options in this race whether he looks to press onto the lead or duck on the back of the 1. Was sent back to the trials last start after doing things wrong and had no luck there when badly checked. Should get every chance.

OUR ULTIMATE BEATY (3) was running on well last start behind Rockn Sam at Albion Park in a maiden. Appears to land in a similar race and should have options from a low draw in a small field.

JUSTANOTHER TORQUE (4) went around a short priced favourite last start and appeared to have every chance after securing a great run 1-1 in the race. Had put in a good run prior to that in running second after doing all the work and can run well again in this race.
