Form Analysis: Redcliffe September 24

RACE 1 

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (3) has been in good form. He draws favourably in this race and should be able to press forward at the start. If he is able to press onto the lead he should be hard to run down in this race. 

SON OF THE SHARK (1) was able to lead last start in what looked to be a race with more depth and ran third there. He should be able to lead early in this race before having options just after the start. 

MAYWYN TROUBADOUR (9) was able to score a good win two starts ago at this track when running on best to score. He should be able to secure a similar run in this race and can be running into the money late. 

B MAC C (7) should get a good run just behind the speed in this race following out a horse with gate speed in Son Of A Shark. Was a strong winner five starts ago at this track and a similar effort would see him competitive again.

RACE 2 

SPLASHNDASH (8) put in a huge effort last start to run third and goes much closer to winning had he been able to land a position early before being forced to the rear of the field. He should get a good run through early in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be right in the finish again.

MISS SYRAH (1) has good early speed and should be able to drive through and lead. She seems to go best when able to lead in her races and gets that opportunity in this race. She has three consecutive placings including a good second two runs ago when leading and should be in the money again.

ULTIMATE ARK (5) took on a stronger race last start at Albion Park which was taken out by Yankee C J. He draws poorly again in this race wide on the track and will likely need to work at some stage to get into the race.

RAINBOWSEND (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse in Miss Syrah. She was able to secure a good run in a better race last start and ran a clear third.

RACE 3

STUDLEIGH MARK (5) has excellent gate speed and should be able to launch across and lead this race in the early stages. He launched across and led a race over the 2138 at Albion Park before tiring late but was entitled to given the fast tempo he’d set and the unsuitable distance of the race. He steps back to the shorter course here and is likely to prove hard to beat.

HAPPY AS CAN BE (8) ran a clear second to Ultimate Miki two starts ago which looks reasonable form for a race of this nature. He has since had roughly a month between runs which presents as a query.

GOODOLDBOYSANDBEER (9) was forced to do the work outside the leader last start at Albion Park and just tired late into seventh. He may be forced to do the work again in this race from a back row draw. 

TAYLORS FOUR (1) isn’t a horse blessed with a lot of gate speed which is often her downfall. She secured a good run last start over the 2138 at Albion park and was able to battle on well.

RACE 4 

GOTTA HAV ME (1) should have enough early speed to drive through and lead this race. She showed her toughness last start when sitting without cover and proving too good at Albion Park. This looks a touch tougher but she does draw well and should get a good run. 

KASH US BACK (7) draws favourably in this race following out a gate speed horse. He was forced to race without cover last start behind Blackjack Crippa and was able to battle on for a good third. He should secure an economical run in this race.
 
KUZMA (6) was running on well late last start after the race wasn’t run to suit. He will be hoping there is a genuine early tempo and should be running into it late. 

MACH ASSASSIN (4) comes into this race third up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. He should be running on strongly late if the race is run to suit.

RACE 5

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (5) may look to work forward in this race in the early stages. He was a good winner at this track five starts ago leading all the way. If he can obtain the lead he is likely to be hard to run down in this race. 

ART OF ROCK (9) was able to work into the clear at the right time last start and closed best to score at this track. He is racing well and should secure a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be running into the finish again. 

FAVREAU (6) comes into this race fourth up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness. He enjoys racing over this track and trip and if he can secure the right run from the wide gate he should be hard to hold out late. 

WEREGOINGTOGETCHA (1) should be able to drive through and lead before having options just after the start. She seems to run her best races with something to follow and may elect to hand over and look for something to follow in this race.

RACE 6 

TRACER BULLET (3) has good early speed and might be able to work to the front in this race. He was a good winner four starts ago when leading all the way at this track before leading and running well his following start after starting from a wide gate at Albion Park. 

IMPERIOUS (2) has some early speed and if he was able to work across to the lead he should be hard to beat. He was a good winner three starts ago when closing best to score.

SHES BEWITCHED (4) was midfield last start over the 2040 at this track in a race that was dominated by horses up on speed on the pegs. She may appreciate the step back to the 1780. 

GHOST TRAIN (8) led last start over the 2040 at this track and was just run down late when finishing third. He steps back to the 1780 for this race and should be running into it late if the race is run to suit.

RACE 7

FRANCS FOR COMING (2) has good early speed and should be able to lead this race early. This race looks a bit easier than his most recent outings and he has run a few good races out in front.

SHEROCKSMYWORLD (9) hit the line strongly last start after securing a good run in the race and was just beaten by a horse that got a run through up the inside. She has seemingly turned a corner and her recent form has been much better than a prior form. She looks likely to secure a good run off the speed and can be running on late.

LITTLE WHIPPET (3) looks to have drawn an awkward gate in this race for a horse without much gate speed. Ran into third last start after securing a good run in the pegs behind Daretodance. 

JACKS FYRE (7) sat outside the leader last start and did well to battle away for second behind Daretodance. He looks likely to secure a more economical trip this time on the pegs and should be running into it late if the gaps appear.

RACE 8

GREAT WHITE (2) has good early speed and should be able to work to the lead in this race. Was able to break through for a strong win three starts ago when running on best to score over Tactical Illusion. 

BUBBA NAY (3) should get a good run throughout this race having options early after likely working forward at the start. He was badly held up last start at a crucial stage when appearing to hit the line nicely.

EYE SEE THESEASIDE (4) has missed the placings just once in her 6 career starts so far. She impressed three starts ago when scoring over La Miki who has since won twice. She has shown she is capable of working her races making her quite versatile. 

MY ULTIMATE MARIO (5) was left without cover last start at Albion Park in a race taken out by Race For Riches. He may be left to do the work again from the wide gate but should be thereabouts again off last starts effort.

RACE 9

MOONSHINE MILLY (5) hit the line strongly last start behind Mili Marina at this track last start. He did a few things wrong early in his career but appears to be putting it altogether and is closing in on a maiden victory.

MAJIC JUJON (2) is the half sister to 6 time winner and stablemate Majorita Jujon. She trialled up reasonably at Albion Park when well beaten in fast time appearing to hit the line nicely late. Should secure a good run from a good draw. 

ALWAYS CIRCLING (3) showed some gate speed to lead on debut and was good enough to battle on for third there. Should have derived plenty of benefit from the effort on debut and may be able to lead again in this race.

KEAYANG LACEY (7) ran well to figure in the placings last start. Should secure a good run on the pegs in this race and could sneak into the minor money with luck in running.
