Form Analysis: Albion Park October 28

28 October 2025

RACE ONE

Placed in all three starts, the stars should align for LOUMINATE (2) to break maiden ranks in this battle. Sent out deep into the sauce last time out, she was collared in the last stride by MOTION TO TORQUE which has subsequently won again. Runner-up to another subsequent winner in IMPERMISSIBLE the start prior, this looks hers.

 WICKED WHISKEY (9)
was well supported here last week from gate one when resuming from a spell for the new stable. Making a mess of the start, he was never a factor and finished tailed out. If the manners improve, he can chase redemption.

 BETTOR BE BODHI (8)
worked forward to find the pocket trail last time out and was best of the chasing pack to grab silver when 5m astern of the winner BENNYDASOOK. He will be probing.

 LACEYS LASS (1)
just missed the podium last time out as YES CAPTAIN landed the prize. With the chance for the soft trip in behind the speed, she can look to land in the money here.

SELECTIONS: LOUMINATE (2), WICKED WHISKEY (9), BETTOR BE BODHI (8), LACEYS LASS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LOUMINATE (2) to win

RACE TWO

Making a mess of the start at Marburg last time out, EN MASSE (3) then made another error in the run which ended her chances. Buried on the inside on this deck the start prior when starting from 20m, a return to the front tape is beneficial and with the right manners will get her chance.

 MAROON BELLS (2)
finally scored the breakthrough for her first victory over this trip at her last start. Building to the win after a number of recent placings, her race looked to have presented at Marburg when starting deep in the red. Beaten a half-neck, she atoned last time with the W and will throw it down here.

 CROOKWELL EYES (9)
benefitted from an absolute peach of a drive at Marburg last time out and arrived in the last stride despite several impediments in the run. He can repeat.

 VOLTAIN (6)
will appreciate a return to the front line after her last appearance from the tapes was from a 20m impost. Runner-up in three of her past five, she can feature again.

SELECTIONS: EN MASSE (3), MAROON BELLS (2), CROOKWELL EYES (9), VOLTAIN (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
EN MASSE (3) to win

RACE THREE

TE RAPA (2) is still chasing his first victory since arriving in Qld, but his past two efforts suggest he is moving ever closer to a breakthrough. Making good metres in the closing stages last time out when runner-up to DARCYS FIREBALL, the front tape in this line up gives him the chance.

 FIVE OCLOCK GERRY (1)
will be better suited under these conditions after trying to make ground off the 30m tape last time out at Marburg as GRACIAS dictated in front. Taking benefit from the outing where he was returning from a spell, he can challenge second up.

 GRACIAS (6)
made the most of conditions at Marburg to work forward from the start, take control and pull clear to a 6m margin in track record time. He can get forward to feature.

 ALDEBARABSTILINSKI (7)
will take some benefit following the last start when resuming from a spell and holding on for the silver behind SHEZA CHANCE. Completing a hat-trick of wins prior to the spell, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: TE RAPA (2), FIVE OCLOCK GERRY (1), GRACIAS (6), ALDEBARABSTILINSKI (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
TE RAPA (2) to win

RACE FOUR

Sent for a freshen following his last appearance in early September, IM LORD TOMMY (2) returns here off the back of one trial. A winner over the 2138m trip when dictating three starts back, he finds the gate to get forward and stake a claim fresh.

 DEE TERROR (1)
should benefit from the soft trip behind the speed and will aim up for open track in the stretch to throw down the challenge. Strong to the line last start at Redcliffe after retreating from a wide gate, he will be poised and ready to strike.

 CAPTAIN NEMO (8)
secures the second line options as the lone runner to score up off the back line. Adding another minor last start to make it four in his past five, he will be thereabouts again.

 RACANA (3)
started from this same gate last time out and sent forward was able to take control and fend off the challengers to take a narrow victory. Not sure if she can get across which will dent her claims.

SELECTIONS: IM LORD TOMMY (2), DEE TERROR (1), CAPTAIN NEMO (8), RACANA (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Stepping out from gate five last start at the middle trip, MACS A DUDE (10) eased off the arm for position before traying to make a closing raid, Finishing 5m astern of the winner JIMMY BLING, this race should generate the right tempo to make the closing shot a winning one.

 LA SABINA (4)
will appreciate a return to the mile after tackling the middle trip off a second line gate last time out. Making some late metres to finish midfield, she was a beaten fav at both prior starts over the sprint. From the gate, she can press forward to issue the challenge.

 WELL SAID NUGGET (6)
faced a second line gate last start at Redcliffe and made some ground over the latter stages when unplaced behind PRINCE JOY. Positioning cheaply will be key.

 BEACH MAGIC (9)
held the pocket trail from the inside gate last start and with the soft trip was able to grab the bronze. That was at 2138 with the mile more suitable for this assignment.

SELECTIONS: MACS A DUDE (10), LA SABINA (4), WELL SAID NUGGET (6), BEACH MAGIC (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MACS A DUDE (10) to win

RACE SIX

With just win to his name and fast approaching 12 months since that win was secured, JOHN SNOW (10) might just have found the conditions for a second. Strong to the line for 2nd last start, which was over 2138 when starting from gate seven. Can he claim the breakthrough?

 LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (9)
started from outside the second line last time out and angled to the fence to chase short cuts but never really found the run to feature. Under 4m from the smart TIMMYTEO three runs back, if he can secure the right cart into the contest, he will throw it down.

 WHYKIKAMOOCOW (1)
has the advantage from the inside gate and should find the perfect spot to feature. Runner-up last start when under 2m form the winner SPORTS BOUNTY, he has claims.

 PISCINA (6)
receives few favours from this gate and will be tackling some vastly more experienced rivals. Game in defeat last start when working, he is a podium player here.

SELECTIONS: JOHN SNOW (10), LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (9), WHYKIKAMOOCOW (1), PISCINA (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Beginning like a shot out of a cannon last time out from the 20m tape, MOSSDALE TERRY (9) looked set to challenge for the front within 150m before angling to the poles and the trail. Chasing home for the silver behind SEND IT, he has been a regular on the Saturday circuit and a return to the midweeks can be the catalyst for victory.

 GO THE RED (1)
keeps producing sectionally strong performances but finds it difficult to convert the effort into winning performances. Making just his second appearance from behind the tapes, a safe start as the lone runner off the front will see him there to challenge.

 MAJOR JELLIS (2)
was making his first standing start appearance in over three years here last week when stepping swiftly off the 10m to find the pocket trail and claim the silver. That was at 2647 with the return to the 2138 in his favour.

 MISTER REACTOR (5)
was buried away on the inside last week at the mile and was just behind the placings as LULU MAE ran a slick mile from the front. Safe manners can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: MOSSDALE TERRY (9), GO THE RED (1), MAJOR JELLIS (2), MISTER REACTOR (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MOSSDALE TERRY (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

Giving away age, experience, barrier advantage and wins to his opposition, the 2YO OPALLANE (10) has quite a few factors to overcome from gate 10. However, his first up win two starts back was a smart performance and then last start grabbed 3rd as the smart looking THE RASCAL carved it out in front. A good temp can see him defy the factors against.

 ITS ONE LIFE (3)
showed the hustle off the arm to take control from this gate two starts back and was able to dictate with 8m to spare on the wire. Forced to park outside the leader last time at Redcliffe from a wide gate, he can get forward here and look to issue the challenge.

 SPORTS BOUNTY (5)
pressed ahead from gate four here two starts back and from the front dictated in smart time. Taken back last time where he was chasing three successive victories, he was never a factor from back in the pack. Forward will see him feature.

 JIMMY BLING (7)
overcame the middle trip last start when forcing the issue to get forward, take control and fending off the challengers to score. The gate stings back to the mile.

SELECTIONS: OPALLANE (10), ITS ONE LIFE (3), SPORTS BOUNTY (5), JIMMY BLING (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
OPALLANE (10) to win
