Form Analysis: Redcliffe October 22

RACE 1 

SIR RICHARD LEE (4) trialled up well before resuming last start at Albion Park and finishing midfield. He is likely to have derived benefit from that first up effort and drops back into what appears a much easier race. If he can secure a good run he should be hard to beat.

KERBANG (10) has been racing well and put in a good effort four starts ago to be beaten 2.4 metres behind Bettys Gold Class at this track and distance. He draws poorly which is likely to make his task tougher in this race but if the race is run to suit he should be getting into it late. 

ROCK NIEN (9) ran well to get into third last start after sitting without cover in a race taken out by Uncle Craigo over the 2040 at this track. If he can get into a prominent position in this race he should be thereabouts again and appears suited racing at this trip.

BARRETT (7) ran a good race two starts ago to get into second behind Radiant Amber. He appears to have drawn awkwardly in this race following a horse that is still working towards his better form and likely isn’t suited at the 2040 trip. With luck at some stage he can figure.

RACE 2 

MUCH BETTOR (1) has good gate speed and should be able to hold the lead in the early stages. He has previously raced well out in front and appears to have found a race he should get every chance out in front. He got a long way back last start and ran well to finish as close as he did over the 2138 at Albion Park. 

DREAM MELODY (7) should get a good run through on the back of Much Bettor which is a horse likely to want to hold a forward position. She found the leaders back in a recent race over the 2040 at Redcliffe after working extremely hard in the early stages of the race. She should get a softer trip this time and can be hard to hold out. 

VINCENT TIME (6) was able to secure a good run off the speed last start and ran over the top late to score a dead-heat. He is generally a horse that races better when able to find a prominent position up on speed which looks tough from the wide draw in this race. 

ROCK IT BABY (9) put in a good run last start to score a dead-heat win alongside Vincent Time. He will need the race run to suit but can be running on late and should be hard to hold out.

RACE 3

ZAC DANIELS (2) has early speed and may be able to work his way onto the lead in this race. Prior to heading for a spell he was able to score a dominant win in late June after finding the front. He as trialled nicely recently including a good second to Wehavtime.

SPLASHNDASH (8) was a winner three starts ago after securing a good run on the back of B Mac C and just proving slightly too good late. He should secure a good run through early in this race on the back of Zac Daniels and from there he can be thereabouts again. 

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (6) hasn’t had much luck in recent outings. She was taken on strongly two starts ago over the 2040 at this track and just faded late into third. She will need the race run to suit to be getting into it late.

PRINCE JOY (5) was able to work to the lead last start and proved a comfortable winner late. He draws wide in a race which appears to have a bit more depth this time.

RACE 4 

WESTERN ARTERRA (2) was able to run down the in-form My Ultimate Mario last start after getting a good run on that horses back. He likely has the speed to lead in this race and from there should prove hard to run down.

BETTERTHAN POPSY (6) secured a good run three starts ago off the speed and was able to prove too strong late when running over the top. He appears to land in a similar race here and has options whether he presses forward and is driven with a sit. 

CHAMONIX (8) hasn’t been at his absolute best in recent outings. He appears to have drawn well in this race off the back row to follow out a gate speed horse and has always been a horse that seemingly goes best when not driven aggressively in the early stages.

ALLMIGHTY MAX (7) secured a good run just off the speed last start and ran over the top late. He appears to have drawn awkwardly inside the back row following out what is likely to be one of the rank outsiders.

RACE 5

FLY BURRA (1) should have the speed to dictate early from the good draw. She was able to lead two starts ago at Marburg when leading all the way before taking on stronger company at Albion Park.

WEREGOINGTOGETCHA (3) has been racing in good form without quite having been able to break through for another win having run placings in her last three outings. She should get a good run in this race and can be running into it late.

ITS ONE LIFE (6) was able to drive through and lead last start at Albion Park and proved too good there leading all the way. He appears to face a tougher task in this race from a wide draw but is racing well enough to figure.

SHEROCKSMYWORLD (5) has been racing well scoring a good win four starts ago when running on late. She has since gotten back in the run and hit the line well late in each of her starts. She will need the race run to suit and can be running on late.

RACE 6 

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (9) has run second in his past two outings. His last start effort was very good and suggests he is working back towards some of his better form. He drops back into a much easier race and should be hard to hold out.

RIGHTYO (8) comes into this race fourth up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness in this race. He put in a good run last start to finish second to Ideal Tiger after getting a good run off the speed. He should be running on again late. 

MAJOR TRALEE (6) hasn’t been racing at his absolute best in recent outings and appears to have drawn poorly in this race outside the front row. His best is good enough and he can go about winning this race a number of ways.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (7) hit the line strongly again last start after a good second his run prior. He appears to draw awkwardly in this race behind what is likely to be one of the less favoured runners in the race.

RACE 7

SAMMYS SECRET (1) has good early speed and can likely drive through and lead this race. He led last start over the less suitable 2040 when appearing to over race. He should be hard to run down.

MATAI REACTOR (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse in this race. He has been racing well having scored a good win when running over the top late three starts ago. He should get every chance.

JUKEBOX JET (9) appears to be dropping back in class into this race. He should secure a good run off the speed and is going to be hard to hold out if the race generates a good early tempo which appears likely.

CRIME TIME (2) was able to string together four placings before a last start eighth. He appears well suited in this company and should secure a good run from the draw.

RACE 8

MOTION TO TORQUE (6) scored an impressive win on debut when running over the top of Louminate a horse that has shown ability so far in its career. He draws wide in this race but appears to have the ability needed to offset that wide draw. 

ALL EYES ON BLING (9) scored a good run just off the speed on debut last start at this track and trip. She is likely to derive a lot of benefit from that outing and should get an economical run in the early stages of this race.

CHARMAWAY (2) has good early speed and appears well suited in this company. She has done her recent racing at Albion Park including last start when finishing down the track behind Its One Life. She should get a good run from a low draw.

SKYLAE BREE (1) has good gate speed and should be able to lead and have options from there. She led and appeared to have her chance last start at this track and trip. She should be thereabouts.

RACE 9

JUSTANOTHER TORQUE (1) appears to have good gate speed and looks likely to be able to lead in this race from the good draw. She has been forced to do the work a number of times so far and has battled on well enough. Her best run so far was seemingly on debut when battling on strongly to run second after sitting in the breeze.

SHEEZANIDEALTORQUE (6) secured a good run last start one out one back when returning from a spell and was able to run a good third. She is likely to have derived good benefit from that run and should be right in the finish despite drawing widest.

ALWAYS CIRCLING (7) ran a better race last start after securing a good run on the pegs similar to the run he is likely to get in this race. He follows out a gate speed horse and should be close enough to figure in the finish if he’s able to replicate his last start effort. 

TIGER ATTACK (5) was second to dominant winner Threefiveone last start at this track and distance after securing a good run on the leaders back. May get back from the wide draw in this race but is likely to have derived good benefit from that first up outing for the new stable.
