Form Analysis: Albion Park November 1

1 November 2025

RACE ONE

Relying on some factors in his favour from this gate, if they happen to go his way, DEEBO (8) is more than capable of capitalising. Burrowing through to hold the front here last week, he led until the last stride. Holding third despite a wide trip three starts back, he can look for the snipers shot.

 MY ULTIMATE MARIO (1)
was chasing a hat-trick of Redcliffe wins when lining up at the 1780 two starts back. Despite a tough trip when parked, he was grinding hard and was only a half-head short of victory. Best of the chasers behind BOLD MEDLEY JUJON last start, he can throw down the challenge from the improved gate.

 MIGHTY JOLT (10)
was a winner in a mid-week standing start event here three starts back and has placed in both subsequent runs. Under 2m from BIGGER THE BETTOR last week, he can join in here.

 CARBINEER (6)
is afforded no favours from this gate, however, was big in victory here last week when roiling forward to sit parked. Holding on for a 2m margin at the mile, he should not be perturbed by the middle trip here.

SELECTIONS: DEEBO (8), MY ULTIMATE MARIO (1), MIGHTY JOLT (10), CARBINEER (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Running the hands off the clock over the last 800 metres last start from the front, THE JANITOR (7) posted a 53.8 close out to take a 3m margin. That was fresh up from the Len Smith Mile with six-weeks between runs and with the added fitness, will look to cement his claim as the second only to the mighty LEAP TO FAME in this state.

 WISPER A SECRET (10)
was able to work to the front from gate two last time over the mile and from the front was able to hold TURN IT UP to take a narrow victory. Fending off FRANKIE FEROCIOUS three back, it was TIMS A TROOPER which collared him the last strides in between the two wins. The gate makes it a tough ask.

 ARODA (6)
led from this gate last week holding out the States fastest horse off the arm. With no TURN IT UP in this field, he should be finding the front again here and after his big win when lighting the lamps last week at 2138, will be a hard one to crack again here.

 BIRKIRKARA (5)
started from inside the second line here last week and was off the inside early when trying to make a late raid. Finishing midfield behind ARODA when 12m astern, he scored a smart win from the front two back. Position will be key here.

SELECTIONS: THE JANITOR (7), WISPER A SECRET (10), ARODA (6), BIRKIRKARA (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
THE JANITOR (7) to win

RACE THREE

DARIN (1) was six weeks between runs here last time out when rolling forward from gate seven to sit parked. Fighting hard in the run, it was an effort full of class in finishing just 1m from the smart BIRKIRKARA. Placed both prior runs including a tough second to ROCKET CITY, the gate is a huge asset here.

 BIGGER THE BETTOR (10)
was unable to get across to the front here last week from gate two, leaving him parked for the entire mile. Grinding it out strongly, he was able to claim a starchy victory in slick time. The second line stings for this rise in class, but he can still challenge.

 STORYTELLER (9)
angled to the poles last week and with the fence trip was able to grab the bronze behind MARVELLOUS MAC. Not too far away the start prior, he can be joining in here.

 WATCHMEDAZZLE (4)
could not get into the contest here last start from a second line gate as CHECKNOUTTHETALENT claimed a tough win. Forced to work two starts back, he is a podium chance in this.

SELECTIONS: DARIN (1), BIGGER THE BETTOR (10), STORYTELLER (9), WATCHMEDAZZLE (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
DARIN (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Completing a hat-trick of victories last time out when tackling the mobile mile, SHEZA CHANCE (3) should appreciate the front tape offered under these conditions. A midweek winner from the front two starts back, she stepped it out over the 2138m mobile three back to start the win streak. If she trots, she can take this.

 HIDE AND SEEK (9)
will need to take another step up if he is to overcome the 30m impost he faces for this battle. Smartly away off the tapes last time to find the front soon after the start despite coming from the 20m handicap, he is top class at his best and will take some stopping.

 MCGEE (2)
had his first taste of the Saturday night open ranks last week and was far from disgraced when just behind the money. A winner at Marburg two starts back, he can be close enough to feature.

 ZEALOUS SPUR (8)
was forced to do it the tough way here last week under mobile conditions when fighting on for the bronze behind GUS. His last appearance behind the tapes was a 3rd when giving HIDE AND SEEK 10m and he will meet on equal terms here.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA CHANCE (3), HIDE AND SEEK (9), MCGEE (2), ZEALOUS SPUR (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SHEZA CHANCE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Campaigning in mid-week company since resuming from a spell, LULU MAE (3) will look to bring her last start power to this mare’s event. Pressing on to take control from gate four, she run a hard mile and stomped out a 1.51.4 PB highlighted with a 54.5 close out. Back to her own sex, she can power up.

 SKY FAWKES (9)
is chasing a hat-trick of victories after successive wins against mares at the mile. Pressing on to take control from the front here last week, she was able to fend them off with a 2m margin. Arriving from back in the pack to score the start prior, she can challenge here.

 CREDULOUS (2)
was a winner from the front here three starts back and last time out was strong to the line when only a neck from the winner BEACHRIDE. With early hustle, she can feature.

 SERGIOS ROCKET (5)
has been runner-up at her past three starts, the latest when making a late play to be 5m from the handy SWEET MIA. Chasing that same winner home two back, she can fill another minor here.

SELECTIONS: LULU MAE (3), SKY FAWKES (9), CREDULOUS (2), SERGIOS ROCKET (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LULU MAE (3) to win

RACE SIX

Hindsight would suggest that the $71 MARVELLOUS MAC (1) was sent out at here last week was gross overs, and securing the right trip, he was able to defy the odds for a smart win. His effort to score three starts back in a qualifier was strong and with a big gate improvement, he can look to capitalise.

 CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (9)
has been super consistent this season and lines up following another minor last start. Chasing home for bronze behind BIRKIRKARA, he was tough in victory two starts back when parked and grinding out the W. With the right trail, he can throw it down.

 IN EXCESS (2)
was beaten by the second line and a dictating tempo from the front here last week when trying to make late metres as MARVELLOUS MAC arrived. Closer to the action will help his chances.

 ROYAL SPEECH (4)
pressed on from gate five last start and was able to find the front and was trying to fend them off when holding on for third behind CONGO LINE. Beaten a head two starts back, he can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: MARVELLOUS MAC (1), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (9), IN EXCESS (2), ROYAL SPEECH (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MARVELLOUS MAC (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

Sent out deep into the red last start when first up from a spell, COASTAL BABE (4) was forced to do all the heavy lifting outside the leader but had to settle for 2nd after finishing a neck astern of the winner REELY NAUTI. Taking benefit from the run, this will be just her fourth start of 2025, but class can prevail.

 OUR PRINCESS DI (1)
showed good speed off the arm to find the front from gate three here two starts back and then aimed up for the gaps to claim a narrow margin. Gate six and the middle trip was against her last week when midfield, with the improved gate a huge opportunity here.

 ZAHRA LOU (2)
was first up for the new stable when producing a big win in smart time for the 2138 off a second line gate. Banished to the trials after a second-up issue, she resumes here and has the gate to feature.

 OUR MIKI DIVA (8)
is a newcomer that joins the Shane Graham stable and arrives a seven-time winner. With a solitary trial to prepare, she receives the right gate to grab a minor fresh up.

SELECTIONS: COASTAL BABE (4), OUR PRINCESS DI (1), ZAHRA LOU (2), OUR MIKI DIVA (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
COASTAL BABE (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

Despite a wide gate off the front line, the recent form of KALASA (6) might just be strong enough for him to cash in against this opposition. Buried last week from inside the second line and never finding space, the start prior, he was only a half-neck from subsequent winner EAGLESPRIDE.

 ENGLISH DANCE (5)
was a winner in similar company in late August, however since that win, his past five starts have failed to return a result. Luckless last week behind BIGGER THE BETTOR from gate four, the start prior his chances were stung by gate six. This looks within reach.

 BLACKJACK CRIPPA (3)
has good hustle off the arm and from this gate can be looking to find a forward position. Snagged back last start from gate six, the distance is the query, but he cannot be overlooked.

 MY ULTIMATE COBBER (1)
maps for the all the favours from this gate and if able to be leaders back will give plenty in the stretch. Arriving from downtown here two starts back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: KALASA (6), ENGLISH DANCE (5), BLACKJACK CRIPPA (3), MY ULTIMATE COBBER (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
KALASA (6) to win

RACE NINE

Set alight at the 900 last week in a strong 75Final, FERNCO NEL (7) was unable to catch the leader napping and had to park out the remainder. With a sizzling 26 flat panel off the back, he could not reel in TREMENDOUS SENSTATION and had to settle for silver. Despite the outside gate, he looks a smart type and can bounce back.

 BRAVENTREACHEROUS (3)
was sent hard off the arm last start at this trip where he was able to touch down in front. Keeping a solid tempo throughout, he was able to carve out a 1m margin in a new PB. With the chance to press hard in the early stages, tackling 3YO company is a big plus.

 DEMON BLUE (2)
has been to the trials once in readiness for the return, chasing home the smart mare COASTAL BABE. Last seen when down the line in the Qld Derby back in July, he finds the right set up to feature fresh.

 I GOT CHILLS (8)
was faced with the outside second line gate last time and was strong to the line when under 2m from the in-form EAGLESPRIDE. With running line options, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: FERNCO NEL (7), BRAVENTREACHEROUS (3), DEMON BLUE (2), I GOT CHILLS (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
FERNCO NEL (7) to win
