Form, Analysis: Albion Park November 20

20 November 2025

RACE ONE

Placed just once in six race starts, LOOK FOR TASCOTT (3) has shown that there is ability but displaying it on race day is the challenge. Banished for another two trials at his last start when grabbing the silver, he finds a small field and the right conditions to put it together and open the account.

 DOLLYS DUKE (6)
broke maiden ranks by landing a narrow victory at Marburg and has since placed in two of his three subsequent appearances. Trying to make a closing raid last start after beginning from a 10m impost, he was closing out in good order and looms as a threat here.

 ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (5)
found the pocket trail last start under mobile conditions and held on for the silver behind DOWN SOUTH DAISY. A safe start will be key to her podium hopes.

 ARIZONA SKYE (1)
was best of the chasers here two starts back when holding 2nd behind CASCATA. Forced to park last start when fading late, a soft peg trip here will help.

SELECTIONS: LOOK FOR TASCOTT (3), DOLLYS DUKE (6), ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (5), ARIZONA SKYE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LOOK FOR TASCOTT (3) to win

RACE TWO

In a race where a good start can be a big advantage with some questionable beginners engaged, GAIT WITH GRACE (7) can look to utilise her great manners. Chasing a hat-trick of victories last start after two swooping wins, she was bereft of luck and never found open space in a capacity field.

 LIZZIES SON (5)
was safely away from the front tape last start before making an error. Recovering and returning to a trot, he was able to finish over the top by taking a 4m margin to score. With an enforced trial since the victory, he finds conditions to chase the repeat.

 TUNBRIDGE (6)
is still chasing a first victory since arriving in Qld, having looked to be a solid chance on a few occasions. Making a starting error last start, this is the right set up to feature.

 CASCATA (8)
pressed on from the 10m after a smart start two runs back and taking control was then able to see them off. Slow off the mark last time, she is a podium player in this.

SELECTIONS: GAIT WITH GRACE (7), LIZZIES SON (5), TUNBRIDGE (6), CASCATA (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Making his first appearance in Qld last start, EXCUSE TO CULLECT (1) settled in the running lien from gate 2 at Redcliffe and was making good metres in the closing stages for 2nd. Breaking maiden ranks at Parkes two starts back, he can tuck in behind the speed to stake a claim.

 ITS A SPONGE DARL (2)
tackled a heat of the 3YO Redcliffe Sales Series last time out and showed early hustle before taking cover and fading late. A Marburg winner when dictating from the front two starts back, lining up in one-win company from the gate looks suitable.

 OUR ULTIMATE MILLY (7)
claimed a maiden breaking win at Redcliffe two starts back when roiling forward from a wide gate to sit parked. With one more start before a spell, she resumes here off the tough gate.

 SWIFTIE (3)
held 3rd on this deck five runs back in slick time, behind NILA MAREE. Unplaced her next four at Redcliffe, she was sent for a break and resumes here. A cosy trip fresh will help.

SELECTIONS: EXCUSE TO CULLECT (1), ITS A SPONGE DARL (2), OUR ULTIMATE MILLY (7), SWIFTIE (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:
EXCUSE TO CULLECT (1) to win

RACE FOUR

BATMAN BART (2) has started from the second line in four of his past five appearances, the latest from inside where he was then shuffled out of business. With the chance to show some arm hustle and get into the battle, he can look to turn his numbers around.

 ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (1)
should appreciate an improved gate after a continued stretch of tough barriers. Grabbing the bronze last start at Redcliffe despite a checkered trip, she can be up close to the action here to issue a challenge.

 UNIT FORTY ONE (10)
has been racing in good order on the tighter tracks and will look to convert that to the big deck. A last start winner on The Triangle when dictating, he is a podium hope.

 MAJOR TRALEE (4)
was sent hard off the gate from outside the front line at Redcliffe last time out. Taking control, he was unable to finish it off when fading. Positioning cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: BATMAN BART (2), ALWAYS BE A TORQUE (1), UNIT FORTY ONE (10), MAJOR TRALEE (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:
BATMAN BART (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Placed in three of his past five, the draw for GALVARINO (3) can be used to advantage and look to get forward. Fading last start when not looking comfortable at Redcliffe, he was a beaten fav the start prior at Marburg when 3rd. If they can pinch a panel in front here, he might just hold them off.

 CAPTAIN DAN (6)
was heavily supported to run fav from gate 1 at his first Qld appearance here last time out. Taking cover after a sub 27 opening panel appeared, he took his shot in the stretch to arrive for a narrow victory. The wide gate makes it a tougher ask to chase the repeat.

 TOMMY BLIGH (9)
has been unplaced in three runs back from a spell, the latest when asked to sit parked and fading after the tough trip. Following through early here will assist his claims.

 GOTTA DREAM (5)
was a winner four runs back when rolling forward from this same gate, sitting parked and proving too tough in a new career PB. Unplaced in three since, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: GALVARINO (3), CAPTAIN DAN (6), TOMMY BLIGH (9), GOTTA DREAM (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Starting from barrier 10 at her past two starts, IMANI (12) faces another tough gate. First up in six weeks with a tough run, second up last time she produced smart closing splits when only a neck away. A proven winner over this trip where several will feel the pinch, she can capitalise.

 TWILIGHT TANGO (4)
pressed on from this gate at the mile two starts back and taking control was trying to stave off the challengers when nailed in the closing stages. Fading last start in a slick mile taken by DAISY DIANA, she can roll forward early to issue the challenge.

 YANKEE C J (6)
was buried in the run last time from the inside second line gate and never found space. With the chance to roil forward, he can get handy to the action and is in the mix.

 FAVREAU (7)
is afforded no favours from this gate but is one that will not be bothered by the 2138 trip. Closing hard last start in sharp time at the mile, he can be making a podium play.

SELECTIONS: IMANI (12), TWILIGHT TANGO (4), YANKEE C J (6), FAVREAU (7)
 SUGGESTED BET:
IMANI (12) to win

RACE SEVEN

OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and was just behind the money as ROCK HAMMER blazed the 2138. Runner-up two starts back behind MOONSHINER after being exposed early, she finds the set up to press forward and stake claim for victory.

 BAIL DENIED (5)
started from inside the second line at Redcliffe last start and was soon buried in the run. Making a closing raid once the gap arrived to grab the silver, his effort here three back when 3rd to SITTING ON EIGHT was tidy and he can look to issue a challenge here.

 MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (6)
has placed at his past two starts, the latest when chasing home the smart looking FITZROY. Holding the bronze behind KYLOAN QUEEN two back, he is in the mix.

 YES CAPTAIN (8)
scored a dominant win last time at the middle trip, pulling clear to post a 10m margin. This is a big step up from the tricky gate, but he is two from two.

SELECTIONS: OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (2), BAIL DENIED (5), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (6), YES CAPTAIN (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

After a pair of second line barriers in his past two starts, SON OF THE SHARK (1) should appreciate the tight gate here. Making a late rally last time at Redcliffe behind THE TIGER ARMY, he was tucked away when runner-up here two back. With early hustle, he gets his chance to breakthrough.

 MIKIS JOE (4)
eased from gate 5 last time out at the 2138 and was trying to make a closing raid when grabbing the bronze. A tough trip when midfield to SINABUN the start prior, he can slide across and look to throw down the challenge.

 RAKADEAKS (9)
showed some improvement last time out to grab the bronze when chasing home behind FITZROY. With the right map, he can be looking to chime in for minor money.

 IDEAL DESIRE (5)
held the pocket trail from inside the second line at the middle trip last start when best of the chasers as ROCK HAMMER posted a strong win. The gate looks tricky here.

SELECTIONS: SON OF THE SHARK (1), MIKIS JOE (4), RAKADEAKS (9), IDEAL DESIRE (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SON OF THE SHARK (1) to win

RACE NINE

Taken back from similar barriers in recent appearances, this assignment might just be the time for MY ROCKY ROMANCE (5) to press forward. Too far back last time, he was hitting the line strongly two back when runner-up and finds the opposition to put forward a claim for the W.

 WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (6)
has been facing some tough gates in recent starts, the latest from outside the second line at Redcliffe. Only 8m away from the smart BIRKIRKARA two starts back in Saturday night grade, positioning cheaply can see him issue a closing challenge.

 EXCLUSIVE HUSTLER (2)
was left exposed last start and was game in defeat when just behind the money as KYLOAN QUEEN dictated from the front. Settling handy can see him feature.

 O B LEGAL (10)
will be further tightened following three runs back from a spell. Despite the awkward gate, he has the class and with the right tempo cannot be overlooked.

SELECTIONS: MY ROCKY ROMANCE (5), WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (6), EXCLUSIVE HUSTLER (2), O B LEGAL (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MY ROCKY ROMANCE (5) to win
