Form Analysis: Albion Park November 29

29 November 2025

RACE ONE

WITHDISTINCTION (9) will benefit from the early scratching and now maps to be on the back of the likely leader. Dictating to score in smart time at Redcliffe last week, his win three starts back was just outside the track record at Canberra. He will be coiled and ready to pull the trigger.

ELLIS STREET (1)
was denied the lamp lighting duties at Redcliffe last start and had to roll the sleeves and do the heavy lifting. With a strong tempo and smart last 800 over the 2040 trip, he was dead game when holding on for the bronze. With the speed to lead, he will be gripping on.

LUVBITE (3)
was making a late raid to grab the silver last week as ALTA WILLIAM darted through on the passing lane to score at Redcliffe. He can get handy to grab place money again here.

OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (4)
should appreciate this grade after meeting higher company last time and faced with a wide gate over the Redcliffe 2040. Settling handy, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: WITHDISTINCTION (9), ELLIS STREET (1), LUVBITE (3), OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: WITHDISTINCTION / ELLIS STREET (9/1) quinellas exactas

RACE TWO

With the four heats held on Tuesday, no winner was more impressive than CHEERSTOLOU (1) who ran the hands off the clock to ensure connections had first choice of barriers for this final. First up for the new barn with a 21m winning margin in 1.50.8, he spiked that to 1.48.9 and 36m with the heat win. Anything close to that can see him complete the sweep.

REDS ABLAZE (8)
was exactly that in her heat victory here on Tuesday, sent hard off the arm to take control through a 26.4 opening panel. Keeping the power on throughout the 1.50.7 was just 0.2 outside the 3YO Fillies Class record. Posting a margin of 11m with the victory, she will be stalking the speed and ready to take her shot.

HUXTON (2)
was sent forward and working to the front, the opening quarter appeared in 26.7 and followed it with a 29.5. Dialing it up down the back to bring them home in 54.7, it put aside his first AP appearance where he made a starting error. He can get forward again.

RUBY RULES (10)
was faced with gate 7 in her heat and was sent forward to sit parked when producing a strong 2nd behind HUXTON. With a softer trip, she can issue a closing raid.

SELECTIONS: CHEERSTOLOU (1), REDS ABLAZE (8), HUXTON (2), RUBY RULES (10)
SUGGESTED BET:
CHEERSTOLOU (1) to win

RACE THREE

Resuming from a spell with a Redcliffe victory in mid-October, the performances of MULLUM HANK (4) subsequent to that win have been full of merit. Charging late to score here at the mile three back, his past two have been behind FERNCO NEL and BOLD MEDLEY JUJON. From this gate he can capitalise.

EAGLESPRIDE (8)
will require a rub of the green at some stage from this gate, but if the luck can arrive at some point, he can be rattling late. Just behind the money last start as WITHDISTINCTION saw them off, he won a similar race here three back from this same gate.

MY ULTIMATE MARIO (12)
was three-wide the trip three starts back when 3rd and followed with another bronze behind the airborne BOLD MEDLEY JUJON. Stung by gate 6 at Redcliffe last start, he can chime in.

TINDER SURPRISE (2)
will take benefit from a return to the front line after facing an outside second line gate at Redcliffe last time when first up for the new barn. Sent out fav, he can be an improver here.

SELECTIONS: MULLUM HANK (4), EAGLESPRIDE (8), MY ULTIMATE MARIO (12), TINDER SURPRISE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:
MULLUM HANK (4) to win

RACE FOUR

With strong wins in both heat rounds where she has been too slick late, GOLDEN SUNSET (14) will be out to make a sweep of the series. Taking a 4m margin in round 1 which is the same distance as this final, she was safely away and then too strong late. A similar map and result presented in round 2 and despite some heavier traffic, she can complete the threepeat.

GET USED TO IT (10)
has placed in six of seven appearances since resuming from a spell, including placings in each heat round. Sent to sit parked last time at 2138, he was 8m from the winner HIDE AND SEEK. Finding the front in round one and only collared in the closing strides by ZEALOUS SPUR, being the outside runner of the 10m line will be a perfect position to start from.

ZEALOUS SPUR (13)
finished best to claim victory in his round 1 heat. Tracking GOLDEN SUNSET into the race in the second round, he could not go with that mare when finishing 6m back in 3rd. He will be thereabouts once again.

SHEZA CHANCE (6)
was cramped up in the opening heat and made a costly error when chasing five wins in succession. Setting the speed last time and collared late by GOLDEN SUNSET, she can get forward here to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SUNSET (14), GET USED TO IT (10), ZEALOUS SPUR (13), SHEZA CHANCE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
GOLDEN SUNSET (14) to win

RACE FIVE

Resuming from a spell with a half-head defeat, THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (4) was second up from outside the second line when the tempo up front put it out of reach of those chasing. Missing her run two weeks back with the wash-out, she lands the gate to press forward and has the speed to stake claim.

 TREMENDOUS SENSATION (3)
has a winning sequence of six and has shown great versatility in all her winning performances. Dictating last start at the mile, the start prior she descended from the clouds at 2138. Tackling mare’s company for the first time since the streak started, she can throw it down.

 SWEET MIA (9)
was chasing four in succession last start and set the tempo from gate 3 but unable to hold off GOLDEN FIRE up the lane. Despite the gate, she can feature.

 TILLY JAYNE (1)
will benefit from her last start when following inside lines to hold the bronze behind CAPTAIN SHUFFLES. Back to mare’s only, from this gate and with added fitness second up can see her on the podium.

SELECTIONS: THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (4), TREMENDOUS SENSATION (3), SWEET MIA (9), TILLY JAYNE (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (4) to win

RACE SIX

A late scratching just 20 minutes out from The C J last week at Redcliffe, ROCKET CITY (6) takes his place here if not required as the emergency for the Sunshine Sprint. Leading easily at the 2138 two starts back, he stomped out a 53.2 last 800 to score. Kept fresh, he was 8-weeks between runs when holding off CATSEYE BEACH last start.

 CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (9)
was unplaced in two runs back from a spell, the first when only 4m from the winner and then second up had an awkward gate as THE JANITOR proved too slick in the Be Good Johnny. Unleashing a 26.5 close out from the front last start against weaker opposition, the right tempo can see him challenge.

 ALTA WILLIAM (5)
started from inside the second line at Redcliffe last week and when the gap opened, darted through to take the W. With good arm hustle, he can look to find a forward position for this.

 CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD (1)
has the mapping favours from the inside gate. Locked away three back when finding late gaps for 2nd behind MYDADSAID last start when first up, he will strip fitter.

SELECTIONS: ROCKET CITY (6), CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (9), ALTA WILLIAM (5), CAPTAIN HAMMERHEAD (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ROCKET CITY (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

Sent for a spell following a 4th in the Inter Final here back in July, DON HUGO (10) has been runner-up to CAPTAINS KNOCK in both return runs. Gate 12 dented his chances last start in The Bidgee at Wagga, but the run was large in finishing just a neck away. The second line stings for this at the sprint trip, but tempo should suit.

 THE JANITOR (2)
powered home over the top in the Be Good Johnny last time out to take his tally to nine wins for the season. Unbeaten since returning from a hit-run attack on the Len Smith Mile where he was unplaced but enormous in defeat, will his lack of early hustle be friend or foe from this gate in securing early position.

 HI MANAMEISJEFF (4)
is a slick beginner, and the map suggests he will be the likely leader. In for the fight when lighting the lamps in the Victoria Cup and holding 2nd to KINGMAN, he was unplaced last start behind CAPTAINS KNOCK but will be right in this.

 FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (1)
tackles this fresh off the back of an impressive trial that produced some impressive time markers. Tucking in behind the speed, he will be probing in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: DON HUGO (10), THE JANITOR (2), HI MANAMEISJEFF (4), FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
DON HUGO (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

With added benefit from the first up performance, CALL TO ORDER (3) can look to press forward in the early stages here. Resuming at Redcliffe in the C J, he was under 5m from the winner. Sent for a break following a sound effort in the Eureka two back, he can capitalise.

 BACK TO BETOOTA (4)
took the trail last start and was best of the chasers as CAPTAIN SHUFFLES ripped home in 26.5 for the victory. There is no horse the calibre of his last start conqueror in this line up and with the right trip, he can look to throw down the challenge.

 OUR INDIFFERENCE (1)
was taken off the arm last start from gate 7 and from back in the pack was always up against it. Unplaced when setting the tempo two back, he has options here.

 CONGO LINE (10)
will be better suited back to the big deck after a smart effort at Redcliffe last week. A winner three starts back his past two have been sectionally impressive and he can charge late.

SELECTIONS: CALL TO ORDER (3), BACK TO BETOOTA (4), OUR INDIFFERENCE (1), CONGO LINE (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

With ballot exemption to The Great Square next week on offer to the winner, if AJAY VOLSTEAD (8) can find clear track, he can force his way into the G1 Feature. Looming ominously at h is first run back from a spell, he made an error which ended his chances. A sharp winner three starts back at the mile, he just needs the gap.

 NORTHERN HEIGHTS (6)
was second up from a spell last time out when sent forward from a 20m tape to take control at the 2138. With power on throughout, he pulled clear of his rivals with a commanding 44m margin posted. With the front-line advantage, he can look to stay ahead of the main danger to throw it down.

 DONNIE GAL (2)
claimed the Qld Trotters Oaks last week after moving up strongly from the 600 and taking a 6m margin at the wire. Settling handy can see her on the podium again.

 LAYDOWNLUNA (1)
was in front and trying to see them off in the Trotters Oaks but had no answer to the closing power of DONNIE GAL. Runner-up her past three, she can place again.

SELECTIONS: AJAY VOLSTEAD (8), NORTHERN HEIGHTS (6), DONNIE GAL (2), LAYDOWNLUNA (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
AJAY VOLSTEAD (8) to win

RACE TEN

Resuming from a spell last time out, CATSEYE BEACH (7) was able to find the pocket trail through a sub 26 opening panel. Taking his shot in the stretch was only a head from ROCKET CITY on the wire. With good speed out of the machine and the added fitness, he is up to this.

 SO SIRIUS (3)
can run the arm and can be looking to fire some early bullets here. Beaten by gate 7 last time when snagged back and then unable to get warm. Three starts back he was game in defeat when under 2m from ARODA and with a the right trip, he finds conditions to challenge.

 ALBY TWO CHAINS (6)
had no run on from the 1x1 trail last time, the result of the leader and winner CAPTAIN SHUFFLES zipping home in 54.1. With added fitness from two runs back, he is in the mix.

 WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (2)
faces a rise in grade from recent assignments but should land in a handy position from this gate. Tough draws have impacted the chances at his past two.

SELECTIONS: CATSEYE BEACH (7), SO SIRIUS (3), ALBY TWO CHAINS (6), WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
CATSEYE BEACH (7) to win
