Form Analysis: Albion Park November 7

7 November 2025

RACE ONE

After two runs back from a spell where he has been just behind the placings in each, SMARTER THAN YOU (10) can look to capitalise from the awkward gate here third up. Eased from gate 5 last time at Redcliffe over 2040, BOLD MEDLEY JUJON was too slick first up. This is within reach.

 EMPRESS BYELINE (4)
steps out for a new stable and will be returning from a spell off the back of a pair of trials. Tackling stronger Saturday night company in mare’s races prior to the break, she has good speed off the arm and finds the right conditions to challenge fresh.

 ZAC DANIELS (1)
was second up from a spell last time out when dictating to an 8m victory at Redcliffe, running a strong last 800 with the effort. He has the gate to improve his AP record.

 SON OF THE SHARK (8)
should secure an economical journey from this gate and will benefit from limiting the work to find the position. With that in mind, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: SMARTER THAN YOU (10), EMPRESS BYELINE (4), ZAC DANIELS (1), SON OF THE SHARK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SMARTER THAN YOU (10) to win

RACE TWO

With the 2138 metre journey likely to sort a few of these runners out, ROYAL PRINCESS (9) is one that will have no issue with running the distance out strongly. A winner over this trip two back when finishing over the top, she was runner-up last time- also over this journey when starting favourite and finishing 2m astern of the winner FAVREAU.

 GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (6)
is given no favours from the wide gate, but the 2138m trip against this opposition should suit. Sent to the post favourite last time out when tackling the Redcliffe 2040, he faded after a tough trip from a wide gate. Limiting the early burn will assist his chances.

 PINKCHAMPAGNE (5)
found running line cover from gate 5 on The Triangle last start and when set free, had the speed to arrive for victory. The concern here will be the middle trip.

 TEACHERS PET (2)
can settle handy to the action here to make a play for the podium. Grabbing the bronze last start at Redcliffe over 2040, she is never too far from the action in this grade.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL PRINCESS (9), GOODOLBOYSANDBEER (6), PINKCHAMPAGNE (5), TEACHERS PET (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ROYAL PRINCESS (9) to win

RACE THREE

The first of two heats for the 3YO Colts and Geldings ahead of the $100k Final on Saturday week where RACE FOR RICHES (3) can look to capitalise from the gate. Finishing strongly to score at the middle trip two starts back, a wide gate when retreating was against him last start.

STAY FOOLISH (2) is a NSW visitor that has been winless this season but finds the gate to turn it around. Placed in three of his past four starts, last start was luckless at Dubbo when locked away on the poles. Collared in the closing stride two starts back, he has the gate to challenge.

 TORO LOCO (6)
is the 2YO champion of this Series but has been unable to convert any chances this year. Placed in nine of 16, he has gone under as the favourite in his past two and the gate stings here.

 HAPPY AS CAN BE (1)
finished best at Redcliffe last start after retreating early from a wide gate. With his recent form on The Triangle, he snares the gate to feature here.

SELECTIONS: RACE FOR RICHES (3), STAY FOOLISH (2), TORO LOCO (6), HAPPY AS CAN BE (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
RACE FOR RICHES (3) to win

RACE FOUR

Classy 3YO SINABUN (7) faces a tough gate to overcome his older rivals here, but the small field and his ability might just be enough to get over the hurdle. Enormous in front when scoring a class record victory two back, he was beaten over this trip from this gate last start when sent out in red figures. Look for atonement.

 BEACHRIDE (5)
was a winner over this trip two starts back when securing the trail and finishing best along the passing lane. Snagged back from this gate last start, the tempo was against when out of the money as DARIN dictated in front. Against this opposition, he can throw it down.

 ART JESTER (3)
held the pocket trail from gate 1 last time out and was still thereabouts at the finish when 5m from MULLUM HANK. The small field can see him right in the mix.

 MIKIS JOE (2)
started from the second line at Redcliffe last start when sent around them early to sit parked. Fighting on to be 4m astern of the winner, an improved gate assists his chances.

SELECTIONS: SINABUN (7), BEACHRIDE (5), ART JESTER (3), MIKIS JOE (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
SINABUN (7) to win

RACE FIVE

The 3YO Fillies will only have this prelude before the big Final where COOL AND CLASSY (1) will be looking to add to her title won in the Series last season. Runner-up in the Qld Oaks, she then won a Triad Heat before finishing 3rd to ARRIVE in the Final. The gate gives her every chance fresh up.

 RUBY RULES (3)
was beaten by an inside second line gate in the Qld Oaks four starts back before bouncing back with an effortless win at her next start highlighted by a sub 27 close out. Runner-up in both since, the latest when a neck to ARRIVE in the Triad Final, she is fresh up without a public trial.

 THE LADY DIOR (2)
has good early speed and can fire some early bullets here to look for the poles. Only a half-neck away last start when working wide off the track, race fitness is a big plus to her chances.

 REDS ABLAZE (4)
was taken off the gate last start before trying to make some closing metres when 9m astern of the winner BRAVENTREACHEROUS. From the gate, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: COOL AND CLASSY (1), RUBY RULES (3), THE LADY DIOR (2), REDS ABLAZE (4)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

In what looks a field of lesser strength to the opening 3YO ‘boys’ heat and no last start winners, ULTIMATE ARK (3) looks to get his chance to capitalise. Under 3m from the winner IDEAL DESIRE two starts back and with a string of tough gates in recent starts including the past three from the second line, the improved alley is a huge plus for this.

 MY ULTIMATE FELIX (7)
is afforded no favours from the outside gate but should appreciate a return to taking on his own age group. Not suited last start from outside the second line as BOLD MEDLEY JUJON set the track alight from the front. Best of the chasers behind the smart looking THE RASCAL the start prior, he can challenge.

 PISCINA (2)
is making steady improvement and last start was forced to sit parked when holding on for the bronze. With early speed, he can position handy enough to feature.

 VICTREE CHARLIE (5)
has placed in two of his past three, the latest when strong to the line from deep field to be just 1m from the winner HEAVENLY WISDOM. A return to his own age helps.

SELECTIONS: ULTIMATE ARK (3), MY ULTIMATE FELIX (7), PISCINA (2), VICTREE CHARLIE (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ULTIMATE ARK (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

It has been a strong season for the NSW trained PURE GRUNT (4) that has stepped out here at The Creek on five occasions. Hitting the board in four of those, including a 3rd in the Triad Final behind FIRE AND PASSION, he comes into this with successive Newcastle victories from the second line. He can land a threepeat.

 SITTING ON EIGHT (3)
was unable to reel in STRIPES in a 2YO contest two starts back when 4m astern of the winner. Asked to sit parked against older opposition last time out, he was able to flex and pull clear to a 3m victory in sharp time. The small field can see him throw it down.

 OPALLANE (1)
secures the options from this gate to be tucked in behind the speed and ready to take the final shot. Strong to the line in victory two starts back, his last start 3rd behind THE RASCAL had merit and back to 2YO only company is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: PURE GRUNT (4), SITTING ON EIGHT (3), OPALLANE (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
PURE GRUNT (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

The second of the 2YO Colts and Geldings heats looks like an open contest, where it might just be a second NSW trained win. KIKI MEISTER (2) made it back-to-back wins with victory here in July and was sent for a break. Returning here off two smart Menangle trials, the added experience can see him capitalise.

 TIMMYTEO (5)
set the tempo from gate 1 last time out and was trying to fend off the challengers when collared in the last strides by STRIPES. Not suited the start prior when forced to chair up outside the leader, he has the early hustle to find a forward position to challenge.

 BENNYDASOOK (3)
broke through for his first victory last time out when pressing on from gate 6 to dictate and pull clear to post a 5m margin. With good speed off the arm, he can ping out to stake a claim.

SELECTIONS: KIKI MEISTER (2), TIMMYTEO (5), BENNYDASOOK (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

Just six runners in this 2YO Fillies prelude, meaning one of these six will be winning next week’s $125k Final. QUEEN TIDE (2) is one from one in her career after pressing to the front and taking a dictating victory on debut, back on September 12. Given a trial to open the pipes, this looks hers to take.

 STAY DANCING (6)
is a Stay Hungry filly making her race debut. Slated to step out at the abandoned meeting last week, she was well supported in the market before the meeting was scrapped. With sound trial form, the money trail last time in what looked a stronger line up than this could be telling.

 MALARKY (3)
made the most of the inside gate at Redcliffe last time out to burrow through and take them all the way, posting a 4m margin on the line. With benefit from that run and some winning confidence, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: QUEEN TIDE (2), STAY DANCING (6), MALARKY (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:
QUEEN TIDE (2) to win
