Form Analysis: Albion Park November 8

8 November 2025

RACE ONE

This could well be the strongest qualifying race ever held at The Creek, the race oozing potential and power, including five last start winners. FERNCO NEL (5) is a 3YO that has been progressing through the grades with big performances. Hitting the board in all nine starts since arriving, six of those have been victories, including last start when leading from 7. He can add another.

 BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (9)
was first up for the new stable last start when driven confidently from gate 3 to take control. In front with a sub 27 opening panel, the foot never came off the accelerator, stopping the clock at 1.50. flat. From the second line the task will be harder but anything near the last start will see him take this.

 THE RASCAL (8)
is undefeated in three starts since joining the Turpin stable with a pair of wins at 2138 and a slick win at the mile. The gate will see him buried here, but if the gaps arrive, he can be rattling in the stretch.

 MULLUM HANK (3)
has won two from three since returning from over 12 months off the scene, the latest when darting home on the passing lane. Settling handy in a strong tempo can see him swooping in a race where a case could be made for every runner to fill the minors.

SELECTIONS: FERNCO NEL (5), BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (9), THE RASCAL (8), MULLUM HANK (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FERNCO NEL (5) to win

RACE TWO

Developing a great record on this deck as he marches through the grades, BIGGER THE BETTOR (9) was strong to the line when runner-up here last week behind the dictating DARIN. Starting from gate 10 for that assignment, the start prior he scored a starchy victory when parked and will be challenging again here.

 TREMENDOUS SENSATION (10)
made it four on the bounce last start with a dominant win from the front in a 75Final. Kicking through from gate 1 to set the tempo, she dictated and even threw in a 26 flat third panel in holding of subsequent winner FERNCO NEL. Despite the gate, she can challenge.

 OUR INDIFFERENCE (1)
has been bereft of luck when it comes to snaring a gate. Drawn five or wider at his past seven in succession, the improved alley will make all the difference here.

 BRONSKI ZULU (8)
maps for a cheap run against the markers and will be searching for some space in the stretch. A passing lane winner three runs back, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: BIGGER THE BETTOR (9), TREMENDOUS SENSATION (10), OUR INDIFFERENCE (1), BRONSKI ZULU (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
BIGGER THE BETTOR (9) to win

RACE THREE

An even looking battle for the mares where the draw and mapping options favour GOLDEN FIRE (1). Taken to Menangle three runs back for a tilt at the Ladyship Stakes, she has been thrust into FFA company her past two. Back to mare’s grade and with options can see her capitalise.

 SWEET MIA (3)
made it a hat-trick of victories last start when pressing to the front from gate 6 and taking a 5m margin. Producing a gritty performance from the second line when sent to the breeze and grinding out a 54.8 close out to score two back, she will throw it down here.

 THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (10)
will take good benefit from her first up effort when only a half-head from the winner in sharp time at 2138. If the heat is unbearable up front, she can cash in.

 SOAP OPERA (8)
returns from a hit-run mission at the NSW 4YO Breeders Final where she held on for the bronze behind LUX AETERNA. With the chance of a soft trip, she is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN FIRE (1), SWEET MIA (3), THE VICAR OF DIBLEY (10), SOAP OPERA (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
Exotics 1-3-8-10

RACE FOUR

Returning to Qld for Rickie Alchin, WAMBOYNEINAMERICA (3) was a two-time winner when here during the Winter. Game in defeat in slick time from a bad gate at Penrith last start, his run behind OUR GOAT the start prior was solid. With early hustle, he finds conditions to capitalise.

 ROLL UP (1)
has been on the ODM embargo up until two starts back and was slapped with another 7 on his first run back in the main draw. Returning some tidy efforts in his past five from the outside, he was only 6m away last time and from gate 1 can issue a challenge.

 ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6)
is best suited if able to find the poles, which will make it a tough ask from this gate. Grabbing bronze behind IN EXCESS last start, tempo will help his run on hopes.

 REDS STAR DEAL (8)
had been thereabouts in recent starts before tackling a qualifier last week when able to get forward early, take cover and then arrive up the passing lane. He will be tucked away again here.

SELECTIONS: WAMBOYNEINAMERICA (3), ROLL UP (1), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6), REDS STAR DEAL (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:
WAMBOYNEINAMERICA (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Starting from inside the second line here last week, DEEBO (1) was in front soon after the start when able to work off and press forward. Gripping on in the stretch, he missed the money despite being 1m from the winner. Only a neck away the start prior, he can capitalise here.

 MY ULTIMATE MARIO (4)
was sent to the post as the fav from gate 1 last week but was soon shuffled to three back along the inside when the field sorted position. Finishing under 4m from the winner in a blanket finish, his prior form saw him top two at his previous six in succession.

 RESILIENT (2)
can look to fire some early bullets here for a forward spot. Attacking the line last start when an eyelash short of victory, he is right in the fight again here.

 MY ULTIMATE COBBER (3)
has two wins in his past three starts, the latest when burrowing through to hold the front and take them all the way. This will be a tougher assignment from 3.

SELECTIONS: DEEBO (1), MY ULTIMATE MARIO (4), RESILIENT (2), MY ULTIMATE COBBER (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

A tricky race restricted for QBRED competitors where DOCTA FEELGOOD (3) might have found the right race to improve a questionable win conversion on this deck. Runner-up in two of his past three, he was only a head from victory three starts back. Finding position cheaply will be vital in an open contest.

 BETTORS MOON (6)
backs up from Tuesday at Redcliffe where she was forced to park out and despite the tough trip, was able to grind out the victory with a tough performance. Super consistent, hitting the board in 14 of her past 16 starts, she can press forward to challenge.

 HOT ROD HARRY (7)
returns from a let up after tackling a qualifier last start when eased early and unable to get warm. Runner-up in the Triad four runs back, the gate stings.

 BACK TO BETOOTA (10)
has been unplaced in three runs back from a spell, all from wide gates off the front line. In a race that could generate tempo, look for him running on strongly.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (3), BETTORS MOON (6), HOT ROD HARRY (7), BACK TO BETOOTA (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

In what has proven to be a frustrating season for trainer Trent Dawson, 5YO FOR REAL LIFE (5) resumes for just his 4th start this year. A beaten fav from gate 6 back in March, he has been off the scene since, but recent trial performances suggest he is back in a good spot. First up is a big ask, but a small field at the mile makes the challenge more attainable.

 MANILA PLAYBOY (1)
has been to the track twice this campaign in what has been in interrupted season. Chasing home for the bronze behind THE JANITOR last time in a race where it was tough for anything trying to make ground, the start prior he was unplaced, but still only 5m from WISPER A SECRET. The gate gives him the options to challenge.

 CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (3)
returns from a spell here after his last appearance came back in March from gate 7. A 12-time winner here at HQ, the small field suits his chances fresh up.

SELECTIONS: FOR REAL LIFE (5), MANILA PLAYBOY (1), CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (3)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

Recapturing good form in recent weeks, AMAMI (1) has won two of his past three starts, the latest from the pocket trail when finishing over the top. Dictating from gate 1 at the mile three back, he has the options at hand here and with winning confidence can chalk up another W.

 MOSSDALE TERRY (3)
was asked to sit parked over the mobile mile when producing a game 2nd to BIRKIRKARA three starts back. Tackling the tapes at his past two, the latest when runner-up to SEND IT, he can get forward and finds conditions to issue a challenge.

 OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (4)
had to step up to open company last start, so should appreciate a return to this grade. A dictating winner on the midweek circuit, two starts back, he is right in this.

 FASHION ICON (2)
will be first up from a spell for the visiting Amanda Turnbull team, last seen at the end of August when midfield to OUR SWEET DELIGHT at Menangle. The gate helps.

SELECTIONS: AMAMI (1), MOSSDALE TERRY (3), OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (4), FASHION ICON (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
AMAMI (1) to win

RACE NINE

Returning from a let up here last week, ZAHRA LOU (6) showed some early hustle before easing for the trail. Looming in the stretch to be 1m from the winner COASTAL BABE, her win here three starts back over 2138 was strong and from this gate, can get forward to stake her claim.

 WORKS FOR ME (7)
was runner-up here last start when making good metres over the closing stages after starting from outside the second line over the 2138. Buried away the start prior from inside the second line, the gate stings but this opposition is well within her abilities.

 A PERFECT DANCE (8)
eased from a wide alley last time and was making good ground when 5m astern of the winner. With second line options, she can be making a play for the podium.

 TOBEFAIRTOYOU (1)
started from this same gate at her past three in succession, landing one minor in that stretch. That was last start when grabbing bronze behind MARDIBRINGSAPARTY. A soft trip can see a repeat.

SELECTIONS: ZAHRA LOU (6), WORKS FOR ME (7), A PERFECT DANCE (8), TOBEFAIRTOYOU (1)
 SUGGESTED BET:
ZAHRA LOU (6) to win
