Form Analysis: Redcliffe November 28

RACE 1 

BLUE DRAGON (3) was a dominant winner last start when zipping across to lead putting a big margin on rivals in that race. She looks the leader again in what is just a moderate race and should be winning again likely at a short price. 

CALL KELLY (1) did plenty wrong on debut but was still able to score a very impressive victory. She got a long way back last start and was running on strongly into second. If she can do everything right she looks to have strong place claims.

WICKED SUSAN (5) was first up for a new stable last start when scoring a solid win. She draws wide this time and it looks tougher. Will need to have taken benefit from that first up outing.

BLING THE NOISE (4) over raced badly last start when sitting outside the leader in a strong race at Redcliffe. He will need to bring better manners this time.

RACE 2 

DIVINE ABUNDANCE (1) trialled up well prior to an impressive debut at this track when working hard to lead before battling on well despite being left without cover. She should have the gate speed to lead this time and is going to prove hard to run down.

SUMMER PUNCH (3) ran a good second when first up from a spell behind Queen Tide when securing a good run leaders back. She should get a good run close enough to the speed in this race. 

SAINT MAHARG (6) started from an awkward draw inside the back row and was running on strongly into second behind Mighty Ideal. He draws awkwardly outside the front row in this race which appears to set him a tough task.

TARIFF TIME (8) trialled up reasonably running well in her most recent trial. She looks likely to secure a good run from a trailing draw and can be running into the money late.

RACE 3

WRITE ABOUT ANGUS (2) was crossed early last start being getting into an impossible position three back on the pegs shortly after the start. He may be better served this time at the 2040 start point which could allow him to drive through and hold a more forward position in what is a slightly slower front row.

BEAU STEELE (10) was a winner at this track and trip three starts ago leading all the way. He appears to drop back into a more suitable race here but draws poorly outside the back row. He should run well again.

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (4) is a capable sit sprinter and appears to find another race he is suited. He got a long way back two starts ago and was running on late in a race that was slowly run. 

PERFECT FEELING (8) drew poorly last start and got back before making up good ground late.  He draws to get a good run through on the back of a horse that is likely to want to hold a forward position.

RACE 4 

ROCK NIEN (6) put in a huge effort last start to finish second behind Son Of the Shark at Albion Park in fast time. He draws wide in this race and will likely be forced to do plenty of work again. He should be hard to beat off his latest run.

MIKIS JOE (3) is somewhat one paced seeing him better suited over the 2040 which he takes on in this race. He was well beaten last start but put in a very good run to finish as close as he did behind dominant winner Son Of The Shark. He should be hard to beat.

THE TIGER ARMY (5) was a good winner two starts ago before running well again last start. He draws poorly and isn’t a horse that possesses much gate speed which is likely to see him shuffled back needing a solid tempo to bring him into the race. 

BE GOOD MIKI (7) ran second in fast time two starts ago and appears to have really hit form. He started from an awkward draw last start and was well beaten but was entitled to be given the fast time and tough trip he had.

SUGGESTED BET: ROCK NIEN (6) to win.

RACE 5

LOVIN MISS DIXIE (2) has excellent gate speed and should find the front before having options. She elected to hold the lead last time out and ran well finishing third. If she is able to get a similar run early she should be hard to run down. 

ARKUNA (5) took on a stronger race last start and was shuffled back in the run before finishing off well enough. She looks better suited in this company and has claims of the race is run to suit.

ROCKTIME (8) had very little luck last start when checked at a crucial stage. He had been racing well prior and ran a good fourth two starts ago. He will need the race run upside down.

PRINCE JOY (7) starts from an awkward draw inside the back row in this race and isn’t a horse with high speed that might be suited. He does look well graded in this race and if it is run to suit he has claims.

SUGGESTED BET: LOVIN MISS DIXIE (2) to win.

RACE 6 

PERFECTLY QUIRKY (1) took on a strong enough race which was taken out by Brookfields Beauty at Redcliffe last time out. She was forced to race off the pegs there and gets more favours this time from a good draw. She has options early.

BETTORS MOON (7) has been in excellent form and draws awkwardly inside the back row in this race. She was a good winner four starts ago when proving too good after breezing and hasn’t had a lot of luck since that race. 

IMXTRASPECIAL (4) started from an awkward draw last time out inside the back row and was running on well into third behind Denver Colorado. He may get back this time and be looking to run on late. 

DENVER COLORADO (2) zipped to the lead last start before taking them all the way and rating good time for the grade. He draws outside of a gate speed horse in this race and will likely need to find the pegs to be a winning hope.
