Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale feature races rescheduled

Racing Queensland advises that the five Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale feature races that were scheduled for Saturday, November 15 have been rescheduled. 

Following the abandonment of Saturday evening's meeting at Albion Park, the five races will now be held on Friday, November 21. 

Due to these five feature races being transferred, changes are necessary for the Albion Park meetings on Friday Night and Thursday afternoon.

 The standard races programmed Friday have been cancelled with the Friday card now expected to be made up of:

• Five Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale finals;
• Two heats of the Darrell Alexander Memorial Trotting Championship;
• 3YO Trotting Oaks; and
• 3YO Trotting Derby.

Thursday's meeting will have the below races added:

• Up to NR90 1660m; and
• Maiden Pace 1660m.

All other codes Thursday will cater for most of those eligible for the standard races that were originally on the Friday program.

Upon compiling Thursday’s race fields, should it be evident a number of horses are missing runs, consideration will be given to adding races to the Friday program to cater for the overflow.
