Form Analysis: Albion Park December 2

2 December 2025

RACE ONE

The conditions should favour IGNITE (2) to overcome a winless streak that dates back to April. Safely away off the 10m tape last start, he took cover but at the 400 lost all momentum behind a tiring runner. The effort once clear was solid and this looks his chance for a breakthrough.

 YSMIR (5)
stepped safely and started to rev up to get forward in the early stages before making an error and ending her day. Not suited at mobile conditions against stronger company the start prior, if she can avoid the early traffic, she can look to throw it down.

 DAIMYO (11)
was safely away from the 20m tape last week, pressing forward to find the front and then hold on to take the W. Despite moving back another 10m, he can feature.

 LIZZIES SON (3)
was a winner off the front tape two starts back when able to overcome an early error to reset and take a 4m margin. Forced to hang tough last start when 2nd, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: IGNITE (2), YSMIR (5), DAIMYO (11), LIZZIES SON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: IGNITE (2) to win

RACE TWO

COMMODORE JUJON (4) was taken back last start and was then facing a mammoth task trying to make ground as REDS ABLAZE carved out a 1.50.7 mile from the front. Trying to make a late raid the start prior when 8m astern of the winner, the small field at the middle trip looks suitable.

 JENSVILLE (3)
has a more than respectable record on this deck, hitting the board in eight of 11 which includes a pair of victories. A tough gate in a Peak of the Creek heat last week dented her hopes and the start prior she attacked the line for 2nd behind BRAVEMNTREACHEROUS from gate 7.

 LAST TIME JOE (6)
is another that will appreciate a small field given his best racing pattern is to make a closing rally in the stretch. Only a neck away at Redcliffe two starts back when setting the speed, he was luckless last start.

SELECTIONS:
COMMODORE JUJON (4), JENSVILLE (3), LAST TIME JOE (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
COMMODORE JUJON (4) to win

RACE THREE

Woth a win drought dating back to his win in the Redcliffe Cup FREE THINKER (7) looks well positioned in this line up to recapture winning form. Too far back from a second line gate last start in The C J, his run two back behind BIRKIRKARA was enough that he can capitalise here.

 MIGHTY JOLT (1)
was a winner at these same conditions last time he made an appearance from the standing start. Stepping safely and dictating from the front with a smart last 800 to fend them off, he can look to make a flyer again here and issue the challenge.

 MISTER REACTOR (4)
was asked to sit parked at Redcliffe two starts back and followed that with a sound effort from the second line at the mile. With good tape manners, he is a podium hope.

 ARKIN WICKED (2)
was facing too big a task on Saturday night in the Peak of the Creek Final from the wide gate after retreating. Settling handy will assist his claims here.

SELECTIONS: FREE THINKER (7), MIGHTY JOLT (1), MISTER REACTOR (4), ARKIN WICKED (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:
FREE THINKER (7) to win

RACE FOUR

Runner-up in two of three career appearances, DONT ASK AGAIN (2) looks to have found the right conditions to claim the breakthrough. Holding the pocket trail last start, she loomed but the winner MY ULTIMATE DIEGO had the edge. From the gate, this is well within reach.

 GIRL POWER (4)
is making nice inroads from three starts to date, the latest when hitting the line from back in the pack to grab the silver behind the unbeaten QUEEN TIDE in the Sunshine Stars Final. Positioning cheaply will be the key to her chances here.

 MISSION POSSIBLE (6)
is an Always B Miki gelding on debut for Trent Dawson that hit the line smartly in a qualifying trial but comes up with a tough gate for his first race appearance.

 WICKED WHISKEY (8)
will be tucked away securing an economical trip and will appreciate the return to maiden company after chasing home PURE GRUNT last start.

SELECTIONS: DONT ASK AGAIN (2), GIRL POWER (4), MISSION POSSIBLE (6), WICKED WHISKEY (8)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

THE LADY DIOR (2) should appreciate the set up from this gate to get forward in the early stages and optimize her early speed. Forced to sit parked in a game effort for 2nd outside COOL AND CLASSY two starts back, she can turn her figures around for the middle trip in this contest.

 MOONSHINER (8)
was first up on this side of the Tasman when sent around from a second line gate over this same trip where he pulled clear to a 9m margin in a tidy performance. Striking trouble and falling second up, if he has taken no ill-effects from that, he will throw it down here.

 OUR DICKIE BART (6)
was looking to make it four on end last start when working hard in the run and finishing just a head from the winner. The gate makes it a tough ask in this line up.

 IMANI (5)
had no run on here two starts back when a beaten fav over this same trip. Descending on them last start at the mile to score, reproducing that effort keeps her in consideration here.

SELECTIONS: THE LADY DIOR (2), MOONSHINER (8), OUR DICKIE BART (6), IMANI (5)
 SUGGESTED BET:
THE LADY DIOR (2) to win

RACE SIX

A return to the wide expanses of this track will benefit HOT ROD HARRY (5), which was not suited last start at Redcliffe. Beaten by gate 7 here two starts back when returning from a let up, he can be a hard horse to follow, but with the right set up, he can cash in.

 SIR RICHARD LEE (8)
would be better served off the front line, yet he will have the options from the gate as the lone runner off the second line. A Redcliffe winner from the front two starts back, he was forced to grind it out first over last start. With the right trip he can challenge.

 SEASIDE GLORY (4)
couldn’t muster in the latter stages as COOL AND CLASSY put the race out of reach for the chasers. Fitter again here third up, she will appreciate these conditions.

 KALASA (2)
was making good metres at Redcliffe last start when just behind the money as DENVER COLORADO dictated. Finding forward position will assist his hopes.

SELECTIONS: HOT ROD HARRY (5), SIR RICHARD LEE (8), SEASIDE GLORY (4), KALASA (2)
 SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Placed at his past two starts in similar company, LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (4) finds the right gate in an open contest. Strong to the line after retreating from gate 6 two starts back, he was under 2m from the winner CAPTAIN DAN which has subsequently won. This looks within reach.

 MACS A DUDE (7)
is never too far away in this grade, and last start was strong to the line at Redcliffe to be just a half-neck from the winner. Charging home after starting from outside the second line here two starts back and beaten a half-head, he will be challenging again here.

 LUVN OSMAN (1)
was snookered on the fence last start and need some space sooner than it arrives. With the options and chance for a nice trip, he is a podium player.

 JUSTROLLINGAROUND (6)
was too strong at Redcliffe two starts back when sent to sit parked from a second line gate. Runner-up last start via the passing lane, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (4), MACS A DUDE (7), LUVN OSMAN (1), JUSTROLLINGAROUND (6)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LLANFAIR LLEWELLAN (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

Winless this campaign after a dozen starts, the past two efforts of LITTLE HOOFANANNY (4) suggest she is not far off cashing in. Runner-up at Redcliffe two starts back, she was forced to sit parked here last week when 3m astern of the winner. A better trip can see her capitalise.

 POCKET BOOK (6)
settled in the running line last start and with the closing momentum was able to sweep home to take a 3m victory in a new career PB. Luckless the start prior when needing space sooner and only 3m away, the right tempo can see her challenge again.

 SII SEMPRE TILLY (2)
was resuming from a spell last start when making late metres for the silver behind POCKET BOOK. Finding a handy spot from this gate can see her in the mix.

 MAYWYNS MIGHTY MAC (10)
has drawn wide off the front line at his past two starts which has made the task too difficult. With a better trailing trip, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE HOOFANANNY (4), POCKET BOOK (6), SII SEMPRE TILLY (2), MAYWYNS MIGHTY MAC (10)
 SUGGESTED BET:
LITTLE HOOFANANNY (4) to win

RACE NINE

Runner-up in two of three runs since resuming from a break, MONOPOLLIE (5) should be close enough to a peak to capitalise here. Needing cleaner momentum from the pocket trail last start when runner-up as IMANI swept down the outside, he can get forward to stake a claim.

 BUDDY PERFECT (6)
has been a model of consistency, hitting the board at his past five in succession. Sent to the post as fav last start from gate 5, he sat parked and was fighting to the wire. A grinding effort behind OUR DICKIE BART the start prior, he will need to be tough again.

 BRACKEN WARRIOR (1)
settled in the 1x1 trail from gate 2 here last week and could only hold on for a midfield finish behind IMANI. 3rd to OUR DICKIE BART from the trail, the options aid his claims from this gate.

 OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (9)
was sent around them from the second line at Redcliffe last start but could not reel them in as a red figure fav. The gate makes it tough again here.

SELECTIONS: MONOPOLLIE (5), BUDDY PERFECT (6), BRACKEN WARRIOR (1), OUR ULTIMATE LUKA (9)
 SUGGESTED BET:
MONOPOLLIE (5) to win
