RACE 1

TIGER TOMMY (6) is a model of consistency and rarely puts in a bad run. She put in another good run last start when getting a long way back in the race and running on to be beaten just 4.8 metres behind Mikis Joe.

MUCH BETTOR (8) went around a very short priced favourite last start and wasn’t at all suited by the slow early tempo in that race which was dominated by the horse leading and leaders back. If he can secure a similar run in this race and there’s a more genuine early tempo he should be hard to hold out late.

SARGEANT (10) came with one run last start and came up just short when finishing second to Arkuna. He is likely to secure a similar type of run off the speed in this race again over the 2040 and should be running on well again.

ROSIE POLLEN (5) has put in two good runs her last two outings when running on late. She draws wide in this race and may get a long way back and can be running on late.

SELECTIONS: TIGER TOMMY (6), MUCH BETTOR (8), SARGEANT (10), ROSIE POLLEN (5)

SUGGESTED BET: MUCH BETTOR (8) each way.

RACE 2

ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (2) has benefited from the scratching in this race now moving into gate 1 and looking the likely leader in the race. He has done a lot of his best racing when able to find the lead in races and gets another good opportunity to take them all the way again.

CHAMONIX (7) ran on strongly into third last start when forced wide on the track at a crucial stage having secured a good run. He should secure a favourable run potentially behind the leader in this race and if the gaps appear at the right time he should be hard to hold out.

GLENLEDI BOY (8) ran well last start when running on from off the speed at Marburg to score over the 2200. He should secure a similar type of run in this race and will be hard to hold out if he can reproduce his last start effort.

BLACKJACK BART (9) usually needs a few things to go his way in races and is usually more suited over the 2040 at this track. He should get a good run off the speed and his chances would be greatly improved by a genuine early tempo.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS LOCKSLEY (2), CHAMONIX (7), GLENLEDI BOY (8), BLACKJACK BART (9)

SUGGESTED BET: CHAMONIX (7) each way.

RACE 3

TWILIGHT TANGO (1) scored her latest win when leading all the way over the 2138 at Albion Park. She has since mixed her form fading out of it twice when leading appearing to have her chance. She may appreciate the step back to the 1780 and a more moderate field. She can prove hard to run down.

JET FORCE (3) found the front last start and won impressively last start with the first two putting a big margin on third. He draws more awkwardly in this race but has always been a horse that has raced well coming off cover when he is going well.

PINKCHAMPAGNE (2) disappointed as favourite last time out when leading and fading out of it into seventh. She looks likely to have the gate speed to get across them in the early stages of this race and could be left to do some work at some stage.

LA SABINA (4) has returned to form and is looking for a hat-trick of wins in this race having secured a good run leaders back last start when winning. She looks to have landed quite an awkward draw this time which could make things tricky for her.

SELECTIONS: TWILIGHT TANGO (1), JET FORCE (3), PINKCHAMPAGNE (2), LA SABINA (4)

SUGGESTED BET: TWILIGHT TANGO (1) to win.

RACE 4

AMILLIONCHANCES (6) has poor numerical form but does appear to find one of his best chances to break through despite the wide draw which is a result of him being ODM. He often makes mistakes in his races which has regularly been his undoing. If the race is run to suit he should be finishing off strongly.

GENTLE GIANT (8) has run two good placings in his last two starts and has been closing in on another victory. He was forced to do the work last race last start and battled on nicely behind Burns Bay.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (4) was taken on through the early stages of the race last start by Candykane who went on to be well beaten. He battled away well to not be beaten far by Mister Delwin who was able to secure a good run off the speed in that race.

MULLUM DOC (5) seems to mix his form at times. He scored a good win five starts ago and has run well since. He should secure a good run off the speed int his race and if the race is run to suit he should be running into it late.

SELECTIONS: AMILLIONCHANCES (6), GENTLE GIANT (8), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (4), MULLUM DOC (5)

SUGGESTED BET: AMILLIONCHANCES (6) to win.

RACE 5

VODKA EN ICE (6) returns from a spell in this race having contested a recent stand start trial where he performed well enough. He is a long way back in grade off some of his better efforts and despite the wide draw should be hard to beat.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (4) has run well in two recent trials including a good second behind Midnight Somewhere at this track. He is likely to have derived benefit from those two trials and should be hard to beat in this race with the right run.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9) has been racing well and was able to secure a good run last start just behind the speed when finishing third. He ran a solid second his start prior to the in-form La Sabina.

BATMAN BART (7) draws poorly inside the back row and is usually best when able to roll along up on speed. He has minor claims with luck in running.

SELECTIONS: VODKA EN ICE (6), GIDUP CAPTAIN (4), CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9), BATMAN BART (7)

SUGGESTED BET: VODKA EN ICE (6) to win.

RACE 6

SWIFTIE (7) draws awkwardly in what looks a very suited race for this horse. She took on a much stronger race last time out which was taken out by Wicked Susan at this track and despite being beaten 25.4 metres a similar effort would see her clearly hardest to beat in this race with any luck in running.

CHEEKY BABY (3) draws to advantage over a number of her key rivals in this race. She has poor numerical form but if she was able to lead int his race she could be a sharp improver.

LANEYS LAST (5) scored last start when leading all the way over two subsequent winners in The Rizzler and Stay Dreamy. She comes into this race third up from a spell and should be nearing peak fitness in this race but does draw awkwardly and is going to need a few things to go her way.

ESTER JEAN (8) was first up from a spell last start when running sixth last time out. She is likely to have derived benefit from that outing and can be running on late in this race.

SELECTIONS: SWIFTIE (7), CHEEKY BABY (3), LANEYS LAST (5), ESTER JEAN (8)

SUGGESTED BET: SWIFTIE (7) to win.

RACE 7

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8) comes into this race third up from a spell having put in two solid runs first and second up following a trial win. She looks to take a slight step back in class having run third to Major Generaljujon last start at Albion Park.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9) he was able to score a good win three starts ago when running on over the top late to score. He should get a good run off the speed in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be getting into it late.

YOGI (5) was first up for his new stable landing back in QLD having raced in NSW for the earlier part of the year. He was just fair last start when making little impression from back in the field. He should have derived benefit from that latest outing and will be thereabouts.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2) ran a better race recently when leading at Marburg finishing fifth. He should be able to find a prominent position in this race from an ideal draw and looks one for the minor money.

SELECTIONS: DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9), YOGI (5), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (2)

SUGGESTED BET: DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (8) to win.

RACE 8

MAYWYN VALENTINO (3) didn’t have much luck last time out when working around to the breeze and doing all the work in a race taken out by Whata Good Feeling. He has the barrier draw advantage on his key rivals in this race and will likely look to maintain that in the early stages. He should be hard to beat.

WICKED DE LIL (6) ran well last start when finishing second after sitting outside of Wicked Mack at this track. As a result of a recent error at the start she finds herself ODM for this race drawing wide and facing a tough task to win. Can run well again.

SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (7)
worked to the breeze last start and faded late to be well beaten in a race taken out by Skyward Shuffle. If he can secure a more economical run this time he can be an improver.

FEELIN FORASTAR (1) should find this easier than her latest outing when well beaten behind Whata Good Feeling at Albion Park. She looks a few levels below the top few in this race but can figure in the placings for the first time in her career.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN VALENTINO (3), WICKED DE LIL (6), SERGENTMAJOR JUJON (7), FEELIN FORASTAR (1)

SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN VALENTINO (3) to win.

RACE 9

DEAL IT VINNIE (1) was well beaten in a recent trial at Albion Park in fast time. That effort in his recent trial looks the best form from any runner in this race. He is likely to have derived benefit from the trial and should be hard to beat.

WICKED MACK (2) was able to break through for a good win last start when leading all the way over Wicked De Lil. He will likely look to press forward again in this race and if he was able to lead he would be hard to beat.

TIGER ATTACK (8) should get a good run off the speed in this race and has been racing consistently. She ran a solid placing two starts ago behind Rocknroll Knight two starts ago.

SINKRATE (3) was well beaten in a recent trial when racing off the pegs at Albion Park. He is likely to derive plenty of benefit from that outing and should be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: DEAL IT VINNIE (1), WICKED MACK (2), TIGER ATTACK (8), SINKRATE (3)

SUGGESTED BET: DEAL IT VINNIE (1) to win.
