• Date: The second running of the race will take place on Saturday night, July 11, 2026 as part of the Constellations Carnival/Inter Dominion.
• Location: The Creek, Albion Park

RACE DETAILS

• Format: 2YO Open Slot Race, Mobile Start over 1660m
• Participants: Restricted to 10 Slots
• Barrier: Random Barrier Draw

SLOT INFORMATION

• Price: $30,000 (plus GST) each
• Allocation: 10 Slot Licence Holders will be determined via selection committee as follows:
  1. 3 for Queensland located, individuals, businesses or syndicates: and,
  2. 7 for the remaining eligible applicants (including any unsuccessful Queensland located individuals, businesses or syndicates).
• Notification: Successful Slot Holders will be informed following a convening of the selection committee.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The Protostar is exclusively for two-year-olds, making it a unique addition to the harness racing calendar.
• The event introduces the slot race concept to Queensland harness racing, promising a thrilling competition.
