Racing Queensland is calling on clubs across the state to donate excess equipment as part of the Pay It Forward Program.
Bigger clubs often replace equipment, including both racing and hospitality items, and store old items in sheds or containers.
Things like unused aluminium or plastic rail, saddlecloths & bibs, barrier & fence padding, glassware, and tables & chairs could be donated.
As long as the items are in good condition (racing equipment should meet current Licensed Venue Standards) or can be refurbished, they are welcome.
Equipment would be gratefully received by some of our once-a-year-meeting clubs and will promote sustainability and camaraderie between the 122 clubs across the state.
