Q1 Lakeside track surface enhancement works update

Further to the industry update issued on October 13, Racing Queensland and the Queensland Greyhound Racing Club will undertake planned sand enhancement works on the Q1 Lakeside surface following the race meeting on Friday, November 6.

The works are anticipated to take one week, followed by a Queensland Racing Integrity Commission Stewards inspection and trial sessions the following week.

Racing is scheduled to resume at Q1 Lakeside on Sunday, November 22, subject to satisfactory completion of this process. 

Whilst the works are completed, The Q will host seven race meetings per week, with four Q Straight meetings and three Q2 Parklands meetings.

Participants are encouraged to visit the RQ calendar and greyhound programming pages for updated race programs and meeting dates. 

RQ and the QGRC will continue to keep participants informed as the works progress.
