BURWOOD STUD 2YO TROTTERS HANDICAP 2138m
Race detailsFour of the five runners in this 2YO trot competed in the same event last week. POZZI TONOZZI (1) was looming strongly here in that race but locked wheels with FRAZZLED and lost all momentum as MOUNT JULIET swept home. Added experience and the inside lane can see him lead home the same trifecta, albeit in a different order.
MOUNT JULIET (5) started fav and after a less than clean getaway, was able to trot smartly thereafter. Set free over the closing stages, she let down the best of the pack to pull clear late in posting an 8m margin. She will need to give away the 10m handicap to claim a repeat.
FRAZZLED (4) found the pocket trail last time and then got caught up with POZZI TONOZZI before claiming the silver. Added race experience will assist his claims here.SELECTIONS: POZZI TONOZZI (1), MOUNT JULIET (5), FRAZZLED (4)
SUGGESTED BET: POZZI TONOZZI (1) to win -

PRYDE'S EASIFEED EASIPERFORMANCE 0 TO 1 WIN TROTTERS HANDICAP 2138m
Race detailsWell supported here last start when first up in five weeks, MULLUM DALE (4) was having just his third career start. Safely away before finding the 1x1 trail, he made a late rally to run the winner to a head margin. That race was against far experienced rivals and these conditions look ideal.
SERENA LOVE (6) had made errors in her previous two appearances before showing what she can achieve when trotting last start. A game effort after working and holding on for the silver behind the smart looking RAFFIE JAY, doing everything right in this line up can see her challenge.
SQUAMISH (8) stepped cleanly from the front tape and putting it all together was able to score a maiden breaking win here three starts back. Making errors in both subsequent appearances, trotting cleanly is the query.
BLACK VIPER (7) resumed from a spell to kick off his 3YO term here last time out when holding on for the bronze, albeit a long way from the winner RAFFIE JAY. Added fitness will help here.
SELECTIONS: MULLUM DALE (4), SERENA LOVE (6), SQUAMISH (8), BLACK VIPER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MULLUM DALE (4) to win -

BENSTUD STANDARDBREDS MAIDEN PATHWAY PACE 1660m
Race detailsA mixed age maiden where the 3YO STUNNING STRANGER (5) might just be able to convert his recent efforts. Taken to Redcliffe last start, he found space from inside the second line to work off and move up to sit parked. Finishing midfield, his effort here two starts back for 2nd when just a half-head away was smart.
ILLBERIDINGSHOTGUN (3) is a 2YO Bettors Wish colt on debut for the Turpin stable, that has trialed in sound order in readiness for a first up tilt. The first foal out of the 10-win mare Dance In The Sun, he draws to advantage over some of the main players and can throw down a challenge.
JUST SONNY (7) is afforded no favours from this gate as he backs up from the Breeders Final last start where they were just a bit too zippy. Positioning cheaply can see him chime in.
SWEET TIMES (6) finished down the line on debut behind BETTOR ONE before a tidy 3rd behind BET HES SWEET to progress to the 2YO Breeders Final. Too far back in that, he has claims here.SELECTIONS: STUNNING STRANGER (5), ILLBERIDINGSHOTGUN (3), JUST SONNY (7), SWEET TIMES (6)

YABBY DAM FARMS UP TO NR45 PATHWAY PACE 1660m
Race detailsStriking trouble last start at Redcliffe which ended his hopes, VICTREE CHARLIE (8) had placed his previous five in succession. Starting fav in three successive appearances, but unable to land a winning blow, he secures second line options here to chase redemption.
ALSROKSTAR (4) has good early speed and from this gate can look to show the early hustle required to find the poles. Runner-up two starts back at Marburg from a second line gate, he was exposed in the early stages here last week before finding 1x1 cover. He can challenge.
POWERMOVE (7) fired off the arm to hold the front last start, and the first three quarters were at a genuine tempo as she just faded late. A strong second when resuming the start prior, she is right in the fight.
WEE BONNIE (2) held on for the bronze here two starts back when taking the trail and finishing 7m astern of the winner CALL IT BLING. Settling handy can see her chime in once again.SELECTIONS: VICTREE CHARLIE (8), ALSROKSTAR (4), POWERMOVE (7), WEE BONNIE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: VICTREE CHARLIE (8) to win -

LEADING EDGE SECURITY 2 TO 3 WINS PATHWAY PACE 2138m
Race detailsLEOTA (7) is having no luck with barriers and cops the car park once again after starting from this same gate at his past two, and from 6 the start prior to that. Strong to the line after being forced to make two runs last week, he has two wins beyond a mile from four attempts and in a race where several of these face the trip for the first time, he can defy the gate.
FIGHT FOR VICTORY (5) is one of those facing the middle trip for the first time and will be second up from a spell here. Sent to the post as fav from gate 2 in a Breeders heat, he finished near the rear as PURE GRUNT prevailed. After two inconclusive trials leading into that return, he showed enough class last season that he can bounce back.
RED BULL BERNIE (8) was forced to sit parked in a 3YO Breeders heat and was game in defeat behind BARSBY. Fading out after a tough trip in the Final, a cosy run here will see him probing.
WICKED SUSAN (9) hit the line in nice order when resuming from a spell with a 3rd behind DUKE OF ARGYLL. Taken to Redcliffe for her past two starts, with the right trip, she can be chiming in.SELECTIONS: FIGHT FOR VICTORY (5), LEOTA (7), RED BULL BERNIE (8), WICKED SUSAN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LEOTA (7) to win -
6
PSP TIP-TOP THURSDAY PACE 1660m
Race detailsWell supported last start when starting from this same gate, an issue saw PRINCESS ARNA (2) trail the field home. That was her first miss on this deck after winning three from three, including two starts back when starting off the inside second line. The bounce back is on here.
BETTOR CHEER (4) has hit the board at his past three in succession, the latest from inside the second line at Redcliffe when finishing 6m astern of the winner. Making a late play when runner-up to WHYKIKAMOOCOW the start prior, he can issue a closing challenge here.
AMILLIONCHANCES (6) secured running line cover here last time out and when set free in the stretch, had he speed to take a 2m margin. Positioning cheaply from this gate will be key.
LETS GO BAILEY (8) was a winner three starts back when forcing his way to the front and taking a 7m margin. Midfield in both subsequent appearances, he will be searching for gaps here.SELECTIONS: PRINCESS ARNA (2), BETTOR CHEER (4), AMILLIONCHANCES (6), LETS GO BAILEY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PRINCESS ARNA (2) to win -
7
LADBROKES QUICK MULTI PACE 1660m
Race detailsAMAMI (7) is given no favours off the outside alley but does appear to hold a class edge over those to his inside. Making an error from the tapes last time as FINAL DEADLINE proved too classy, the start prior he was strong to the line behind SEND IT. A winner from this gate the last time he faced mobile conditions, he can arrive.
SPLASH OF PAYNT (2) was sent out in red figures last start from the pole over the sprint trip at Redcliffe. Crossed before moving back into the lead role, he was collared in the closing strides by TRALEE SNICKAS. Runner-up over 947 behind HOLD ONTO YA BLING the start prior, he can throw it down here.
SOMETHING FOR LEXY (5) makes her first appearance in Qld and arrives following a pair of unplaced returns at Bathurst. Drawn wide in each of those, she is a podium hope here.
CHEZZ DALE (10) should find this a shade or two easier than his past couple when unplaced in Saturday night company. Drawn wide off the front in both of those events, he can join in here.SELECTIONS: AMAMI (7), SPLASH OF PAYNT (2), SOMETHING FOR LEXY (5), CHEZZ DALE (10)

GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 1660m
Race detailsSecuring the gate to make the most of some early speed at his disposal, SPLASHNDASH (2) will be looking to utilise it here. Not suited last start when parked but still producing a gritty effort to hold on for 3rd, the start prior he tackled a qualifier when not far away. This suits.
RATATATTAT (6) eased from gate 6 last start to find position before making a late raid for the bronze when 3m astern of the winner HARPERVILLE. Chasing home MAJOR CRUNCH the start prior, positioning cheaply will be the key to his challenging chances.
WINDY HILL WALLY (8) will require a rub of the green at some stage to find some open space, but if it arrives in time, he is up to this grade. At his best with one shot, he will be probing.
MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (3) has placed at his past two starts at Redcliffe and will look to bring that form to the big deck. Off the second line last start when 4m from the winner MAYWYN TROUBADOR, he can join in.SELECTIONS: SPLASHNDASH (2), RATATATTAT (6), WINDY HILL WALLY (8), MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SPLASHNDASH (2) to win -
9
RACING & SPORTS.COM 1 WIN PATHWAY PACE 1660m
Race detailsA tricky one-win race to close the card with several chances. ROMAN CHARLIE (4) appeared to have things in his favour last start and after taking control was unable to put them away. Holding on for the bronze, which was at 2138 and with the return to the mile, he might just bounce back.
BENNYDASOOK (9) is still chasing his first victory of 2026 but has placed in four of seven for the term. A second line gate stung in the Breeders Final behind FIRE AND PASSION which followed a narrow 2nd in the heat behind PURE GRUNT. Despite the gate, in this grade he can challenge.
QUICK SHAVE (6) made the most of a big class drop and heading to Redcliffe to break through for a career opener last start. Building off that, he can be thereabouts again here.
LOWER WEST SIDE (2) ships in for visiting trainer Luke Bryant and arrives following two unplaced efforts at Wagga. Breaking maiden ranks at Ballarat three back, he can chime in.SELECTIONS: ROMAN CHARLIE (4), BENNYDASOOK (9), QUICK SHAVE (6), LOWER WEST SIDE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:
