ANTI VENOM narrowly beaten when heavily backed last start at Townsville and is lightly tested at this distance, a close top pick. HARA'S OCEAN can't knock the form winning two in a row at Townsville and a track specialist winning twice at the track, should be thereabouts. PANAMA LOCO can claim the rails early if outjumps those drawn either side, sneaky chance. HIGH GEAR MARIA speedy type who is drawn to carve across and be right there, looks threatening.
