RACE 9

DOUBLEFAULT (2) should be able to work to the lead in the early stages of this race which should give him every chance to break his run of four consecutive second placings including a good second last time out behind Cherry Surprise in what became a dash home. 

UNCLE NOLAN (7) burned hard early last time to lead and just couldn’t quite get across before being left without cover and was able to battle on well there for third. He should get a good run through in this race and can be running on late. 

JOVIAL JIM (3) was seemingly a touch disappointing last time out when appearing to have every chance to win what was seemingly quite a moderate race on paper where his stablemate What Is His Name made an early error and was able recover to win. He will need to have derived a lot of benefit from his recent outing to be a winning hope in this race but does have the ability at his best. 

COLT KELLY (1) sat without cover last time out and battled on strongly for second behind What Is His Name. He should secure a soft run behind the speed and can look to run into the placings again.
