Page was advised to notify stewards should anything come to light in ensuing days which may have affected the horse’s performance.

Tightened between runners near the 300m when HEAVENLY JOURNEY attempted to move wider on the course. Started a short-priced favourite and performed poorly. When asked to comment on the performance, R. Maloney explained that the filly travelled reasonably well until passing the 600m and when placed under pressure shortly afterwards failed to respond and in his opinion proved disappointing. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities other than minor abrasions on the off hind leg, and a routine swab sample was taken. Trainer D.
