Had difficulty obtaining clear running over the final 100m. Performed below expectations and underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed mild heat stress.

Near the 150m when tiring was eased between OLMEDO and RED CHASE which shifted ground when awkwardly placed at the heels of SPECIAL REWARD. Jockey J McDonald reported it felt awkward in its action and underwent a post-race veterinary examination which determined that it was sore in both front fetlocks. SIRCCONI was also coughing and will also require a veterinary examination including the results of an endoscopic examination prior to resuming.
