Near the 900m inconvenienced by REGULAR when that runner was over-racing and shifted out. When questioned as to the performance Jockey A Allen stated that after suffering interference passing the 900m he was obliged to race wide for the remainder of the trip. Jockey Allen added that whilst obliged to cover extra ground he was still somewhat disappointed in the filly’s performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities at the time of examination.
