As a result of the barrier partition being damaged in this incident, all outside runners were moved out one further barrier position. Held up approaching the home turn before improving onto the heels of ENJOY THE SHOW and being inconvenienced. Near the 200 metres had to be steadied before shifting to the inside to obtain clear running. Rider T Wolfgram stated after being held up rounding the home turn HAIRDO proved disappointing from the 200 metres.
