Apprentice K Wilson-Taylor pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 131(b) in that he failed to ride the gelding, which finished in 6th position beaten a short half head for fifth, out to the end of the race and was fine $300.

Trainer K Kemp advised he would report any condition which may come to light in the coming days to explain the performance.
