Began only fairly and was then placed in restricted room shortly after the start. Jockey T Harrison reported that whilst the gelding travelled comfortably during the event, it failed to run on as she had expected in the home straight. Jockey Harrison added that in her opinion the reduction in distance of this event was not the to advantage of the gelding. Trainer B Hull indicated that the mare gelding in light of today’s performance would now be spelled.
