Apprentice M. Schrapel reported that his mount did not travel comfortably in the rain affected conditions at any stage of the event. He therefore steadied approaching the 800m turn when racing in restricted room in an attempt to have the horse travel more comfortably. Was inconvenienced by another runner near the 200m.
