Stewards inquired into the performance of the horse. Trainer’s representative Mr Michael Morrison was interviewed. He indicated following the horse’s last start in January blood tests had been performed and prior to the horse being sent for a spell. Stewards adjourned the inquiry for a report of these blood tests to be supplied to stewards in the coming days. Stewards advised Mr Morrison that the horse would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to racing again as it had been uncompetitive in today’s event. A post race veterinary examination reveal no abnormality.
