Apprentice M Potgieter was questioned regarding the riding tactics he adopted on the filly in particular his decision to ride the filly forward in todays event. He advised that connections had instructed him to ride the filly in a forward position just off the speed. He stated that after beginning well and racing forward outside the leader Lenny Rocket, his mount Miss Tittle Tat commenced to overrace, and he was having difficulty steading the filly. The explanation of Apprentice M Potgieter was noted.
