When questioned by Stewards regarding the performance, Apprentice M. Wishart stated that after travelling well in a prominent position she was confident that the mare was travelling strongly, however when placed under pressure it failed to respond as anticipated and proved disappointing over the concluding stages. Stable representative Mr. Mr. Currie could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance, however he undertook to advise Stewards should anything come to light in the coming days regarding the horse’s post-race recovery.
