Prior to the event Stewards questioned trainer M Dunne over his decision to start the horse on today’s heavy 8 surface, particularly as the horse had been scratched from its most recent engagement at GCTC meeting on 17th September 2022 on a heavy racing surface. Mr Dunne explained after consultation with owners of SNAZZ ‘N’ CHARM it was decided that with no preferred race in the foreseeable future, they elected to start the horse today. Mr Dunne added that going forward SNAZZ ‘N’ CHARM would not start on a heavy track surface.
