Approaching the 1200m, improved to the inside of GURU CLASS and became awkward at that runners’ heels, shifting in and bumping with VOCALS for a short distance. Continued to over race for the remainder of the event. Approaching the 700m when the pace of the race steadied, had to be eased from the heels of DEEP DAWN for a number of strides. Laid in under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.
