When questioned on the performance, Jockey stated filly had drawn wide, failed to show speed early and never travelled in the run until balancing up in the home straight-said filly may not have backed up from its previous start on 28th of October 2023 at Gold Coast. A post-race vet exam revealed no apparent abs, and it was noted filly lost its near hind plate.
