Slow to begin. Rider Z Lloyd reported with the slow early tempo the horse was inclined to over-race in the early stages and did not travel comfortably from the 1000m and failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure. He added he was of the opinion that having its first start back from a spell over 1800m on a wet track also contributed to the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A post-race swab sample was taken from NEMINGAH.
