Began very awkwardly. Jockey J. Stanley reported at scale that after beginning very awkwardly, the filly travelled well but when asked for an effort failed to respond to his riding from the 400m. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the off foreleg. Trainer’s representative W. Birchley was advised that THE UNDERGROUND will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
