Contacted on jumping. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer advised that the filly had been pleasing in its work leading into the event and the stable had expected a forward showing. She added further that the uninterrupted run, compared to the interference incurred last start, was also a telling factor. Rider advised that, after beginning well, his mount travelled well throughout adding that, in his opinion, the filly is better suited to being ridden in a prominent position as it was in this event. Stewards noted the explanations.
