Dear Trainer,

The Queensland racing industry is mourning the loss of Beaudesert thoroughbred trainer Leanne Hartley.

Leanne was a valued and respected member of our racing community, and her loss will be felt by many across the industry. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her during this difficult time.

As part of RQ’s Mental Health Support Program, industry participants can access confidential counselling and support services 24/7 via Telus Health on 1300 360 364. 

RQ will work with QRIC and the Australian Trainers’ Association to ensure local participants have access to immediate support through a dedicated counsellor if needed.
