RACE TWO

PATSDELIGHT (1) completed a hat-trick of victories last start when leading them all the way off gate 1 over the mobile 2280m trip at Redcliffe. That followed a huge 40m victory when steeping cleanly from a 10m tape and dealing in front. With another safe start she can look to dictate in front.

GHENT (6) has found some rhythm and been top 3 at 3 of his past 6 with 3 of those being victories. Last start from a 60m tape he worked home strongly to take the bronze when beaten 7m behind PATSDELIGHT. That followed a tough 5m margin behind OLE SUN and he will be right in this.

SHADY SADIE (9) made her Aus debut here last week off a 10m impost. Doing everything right in the run she was hitting the line hard when 2m from OLE SUN. With the added fitness she is in the mix again.

SPIRIT WALKER (8) will strip fitter from her return to the track last week when only 5m from the winner. In good form last prep, she can look for position and has claims for a minor here.

SELECTIONS: PATSDELIGHT (1), GHENT (6), SHADY SADIE (9), SPIRIT WALKER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-6-8-9

RACE THREE

SPEEDIE MCARDLE (2) started from gate 3 here last start and held ground in the closing panel that was put down in 27.8 by the leader and winner LENNY THE LEGEND. Forget his run 2 back when striking trouble, this is easier than what he has been facing and from this gate gets every chance.

HOT DOGMA (1) worked hard in the run at Redcliffe last start and was far from disgraced when 8m from the winner SAAMMYSLUCK who had the drop on the leader. From the gate he has the options if pressured and with the inside advantage is in the mix in this field.

CROWNING GLORY (5) led them up last start from gate 2 before fading out and finishing down the line behind SOHO SHANGHAI. That was his 1st start in nearly 7 weeks and he can be sharper here.

EARL JUJON (4) was wide and hitting the line in good order at Redcliffe last start when 5m from the winner SAMMYSLUCK. That followed a tough run from gate 5 when not far from EPIRUS BOY and he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SPEEDIE MCARDLE (2), HOT DOGMA (1), CROWNING GLORY (5), EARL JUJON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEEDIE MCARDLE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

MAYWYN TOUGH (5)
will strip fitter from his latest start when landing gate 5 at Redcliffe and returning from a 6-month break when 5m from ALI DOWNUNDER. Showing promise in 3 early season starts as a 2YO including a half-neck victory at his 2nd career start, he looks hard to stop.

MAKINMEFEELGOOD (1) went to the pegs from gate 3 here on Friday and chased home in good order to be 10m from the winner ALI DOWNUNDER. Well supported here 2 starts back he chased hard to grab the silver behind BEEF CITY STARZZZ and from this gate looks to get his chance.

AT RANDOM (4) was impressive on debut when sprinting sharply along the pegs to victory after being buried away in the run. Forced to work in the breeze at his next 2 he is in the mix here.

LA PISTOLA (8) has been costly thus far for fav backers, going under at his 3 career starts, starting as the punters elect in each. Luckless 2 starts back, a cosy trip from this gate will see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN TOUGH (5), MAKINMEFEELGOOD (1), AT RANDOM (4), LA PISTOLA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN TOUGH (5) to win

RACE FIVE

PACIFIC DRUMS (2) returned from a freshen with a late closing charge from gate 11 to grab the silver behind HEAVENS HURRICANE. Last time out from gate 5 he worked forward and did the hard yards in the breeze in a nice effort when 4m from the flying SPRING CAMPAIGN. He can take this.

SUBTLE DELIGHT (5) was hitting the line strongly last start after snagging back from gate 7 and coming with a closing run to be 8m from the winner DEECAESAR in a qualifier. His run 2 back was a solid effort when 9m from ARGYLE BEACH and he can feature here.

BACK PAGE NEWS (1) was against the tempo last start when trying to make ground from back in the pack when the leader was able to rip home in a 27.7 closer. His run 2 back in a similar field to this was a sound effort when cutting the breeze. Winless for a long time now, the gate helps his chances.

HEZ RAZOR SHARP (8) has been run down when leading in 2 of his past 3 starts. While needing his share of luck from the gate the cosy trip suits and he can sprint hard when the gaps arrive.

SELECTIONS:
PACIFIC DRUMS (2), BACK PAGE NEWS (1), SUBTLE DELIGHT (5), HEZ RAZOR SHARP (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFIC DRUMS (2) to win

RACE SIX

MAYWYNS COURAGE (4)
will be further tightened from his latest outing when starting fav and holding on for the silver behind the very talented MR KALYPSO. That was his 2nd run back from a break after a 6m 2nd to TUESDAYS FELLA from the 2nd line. Pressing to the front he can take control.

PAY ME INTEREST (1) had been building towards a victory and cashed-in at Redcliffe last start when going forward from gate 5 to find the front and once in control scored a strong victory. This is a slight rise in what she has been facing but offset with the options from the ace, she is right in this.

HAPPY FEELINGS (8) scored here 4 starts back when working forward from gate 3 to find the pegs and taking control. Luckless here 2 starts back her 3rd to MR KALYPSO was a nice effort last start and she will be probing for the gaps.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (5) can be sharper in this after returning from a freshen last start and being well beaten. A Redcliffe winner 2 starts back after finding the pegs and then releasing, he has place hopes.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYNS COURAGE (4), PAY ME INTEREST (1), HAPPY FEELINGS (8), BEEF CITY BLAZE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYNS COURAGE (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9) is working towards a victory and has been placed at his past 2. Sent forward to the breeze from gate 6 at Redcliffe last start, the run was full of merit in a slick mile rate around the triangle. That followed a tough 2nd to BRING ON LEFTY and he can get to the breeze cheaply enough to take this.

SICILIAN SLUMBER (1) took on claiming company here 2 starts back and from inside the 2nd line held his ground to the post after being buried 3 back on the pegs. His latest effort was sound behind BRING ON LEFTY and from this gate can look to take them all the way.

SPIKE BROMAC (10) is on the 1-day back-up after the Sat meeting was transferred to Monday. His run 2 back was a tidy effort when within 5m of ROCK WITH SAM. He is knocking on the door.

FIOKI (4) held on for the bronze last start after the perfect trip in the pocket trail. 12 months since his last victory, he can find position here and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9), SICILIAN SLUMBER (1), SPIKE BROMAC (10), FIOKI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

ADRIFT (4) was happy to take the trail here on Fri from gate 2 and despite looking in danger, once he came to the outside he packed too many guns to score by a head with a nice closing panel. That followed a good effort under the circumstances in the Redcliffe 3YO sales final. He can go back-to-back.

LAUGHING EMOJI (7) was in search of a hat-trick of Albion Park victories when she jumped it off from gate 7 and lost her chance. Banished to the trials she returned with a career best win rate from the pocket trail. A mare that looks to have her share of ability, she is in the mix.

ARTFUL MAID (9) looked to take them all the way over the 2138m here on Fri and set a strong closing 800m when grabbed in the stretch by FRANCO TOTEM. With the right trail through early she can feature.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (6) hit the line nicely last start after taking inside runs and was only 2m from SPRING CAMPAIGN. Finding early position without getting too far back will help his chances.

SELECTIONS: ADRIFT (4), LAUGHING EMOJI (7), ARTFUL MAID (9), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LAUGHING EMOJI (7) each-way
