7 August 2025

RACE 1

MY ULTIMATE LEO (4) was well beaten two starts ago when securing an economical run behind Kiki Meister at Albion Park. He then ran well last start behind Gottago Barney and should be hard to beat with the draw advantage in this race.

LITTLE WHIPPET (6) draws poorly in this race outside the front row. He ran on strong behind Nitrator last start at this track and trip and appears to be closing in on a maiden victory.

MULLUM JUDITH (7) was forced to race without cover last start in a similar type of maiden where they rated good time. Can secure a more economical trip this time and should be hard to hold out.

THE ULTIMAT COWBOY (3) draws reasonably in this race and can secure a good run. Has done a few things wrong in recent races.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMAT LEO (4), LITTLE WHIPPET (6), MULLUM JUDITH (7), THE ULTIMAT COWBOY (3)

SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMAT LEO (4) to win.

RACE 2

KEAYANG TARA (2) had no luck last start when being dragged out of the race at a crucial stage. Draws more favourably in this race on the front row where she can land straight in the running line.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (6) didn’t have much luck recently at Albion Park when getting a long way back in the run in a race that wasn’t run to suit. She is likely to be much better suited in this race at Redcliffe over her favourite trip the 2040.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (10) took on solid race at Albion Park where she got back and couldn’t get into the race. She is another mare that’s likely to be better suited stepping back to Redcliffe a track she has had plenty of success at.

ILLBEWATCHING (3) is never far away in his races. He seems to like racing over the 2040 and draws low enough in this race.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG TARA (2), HEAVENLY WISDOM (6), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (10), ILLBEWATCHING (3)

SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG TARA (2) to win.

RACE 3

SIGNOR JUJON (5) showed good speed to work across and lead last start in a fast first quarter. He draws wider in this race but lands in a similar quality race and may look to press forward and look for the lead again.

VERMONT (2) hasn’t been racing at her absolute best but does draw well in this race and is back in ground from some of her better form. If she can find a good position up on speed she might be an improver.

MISS SERENDIPITY (9) led last start and was just run down late by Heavens Baby who came from off the speed. She ran well enough there to suggest she’d be hard to beat in a race of this nature with a similar effort.

BEAU STEELE (10) was running on well last start behind stablemate Cheddar Made Beta. Draws poorly again and will need the race run to suit.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (5), VERMONT (2), MISS SERENDIPITY (9), BEAU STEELE (10)

SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (5) to win.

RACE 4

TEACHERS PET (8) is returning in this race having last start in early June at Marburg. There has to be a significant query on her fitness coming into this race but she does appear well graded and should secure a good run through early.

JIMMY JOYCE (2) has decent early speed and might be able to work his way to the front in this race which is seemingly where he goes best in his races. Last time he led he was able to score narrowly over Altana Blue.

THE MISSING SOCK (4) was able to nab the perfect run last start 1-1 and proved too good late running over the top. This races doesn’t look a great deal tougher and with a similar trip should be thereabouts again.

ART OF ROCK (6) draws poorly in this race but is seemingly racing well. He ran a close up second to Just A Cool Dude in good time for the grade two starts ago.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (8), JIMMY JOYCE (2), THE MISSING SOCK (4), ART OF ROCK (6)

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE 5

ROYAL PRINCESS (9) returns from a spell in this race and appears quite well placed. She should get a good run off the speed and would be suited by a genuine early tempo which it appears there could be in this race.

OUR ULTIMATE STORMY (5) has good early speed but there are a number of horses in this race that possess early speed. Had no luck last start at Albion Park behind Pocket Book when buried away on the pegs at a crucial stage of the race.

MAYWYNS ACE (2) wasn’t beaten far last start at Albion Park in decent time for this type of race. He draws well again and should be close enough.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (1) led last start and was good enough to hold them off after being headed at one stage turning for home. He has good gate speed giving him options early having made the step up in grade.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL PRINCESS (9), OUR ULTIMATE STORMY (5), MAYWYNS ACE (2), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (1)

SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL PRINCESS (9) to win.

RACE 6

MARVELLOUS MAC (1) was able to lead in early June at this track and rated fast time over the 2040 to beat Mikis Joe. He should have the gate speed to lead again and with a similar effort he should be very hard to catch.

OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (2) took on the South East Oaks and wasn’t beaten too far there. She hasn’t had the best of luck in recent outings and this appears a much easier race where she can settle close enough to them from a good draw.

MY ULTIMATE COBBER (3) was left without cover last start which isn’t a position he is ideally suited to. If he can obtain suitable cover this time close enough to the speed he should be hard to beat.

MAJOR MEMPHIS (6) returned to racing in a recent Albion Park trial where he was able to run second to Sabala. Despite the wide draw he should be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS:  MARVELLOUS MAC (1), OUR ULTIMATE JESSY (2), MY ULTIMATE COBBER (3), MAJOR MEMPHIS (6)

SUGGESTED BET: MARVELLOUS MAC (1) to win.

RACE 7

ART ON FIRE (4) started on the back row last start and was doing his best work when running into it late. He should be better for that first up outing and looks suited in this company.

KERBANG (6) draws widest in this race which appears to see him likely to be doing the work at some stage in the race. He did the work in a tougher field last start at this track when well beaten by English Dance.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (5) was able to score last start when able to work a passage through late to beat Misstrepo. She is likely to need similar luck from a wide gate as she isn’t seemingly a horse that can make her own luck.

MAGICOL IDEAL (8) was a good winner at this track two starts ago when leading all the way. Despite him being up in grade he is seemingly a good value hope if he’s able to bring his best.

SELECTIONS: ART ON FIRE (4), KERBANG (6), BETTYS GOLD CLASS (5), MAGICOL IDEAL (8)

SUGGESTED BET: ART ON FIRE (4) to win.

RACE 8

MAJOR LINCOLN (3) worked around to the breeze last start which is a position he’s probably not ideally suited to. He has gate speed and might look for the lead early in this race.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (6) is a long way back in grade off some of his better efforts. He does draw wide in this race and may need to do work at some stage which isn’t his ideal racing pattern.

MADAM WEST (4) is a high speed mare that has previously had success at this track and trip. She will likely be looking for a position close enough to the speed and can be closing off strongly.

BLUE BLOODZ (9) hasn’t been racing at his absolute best in recent outings. He does make the step back to Redcliffe here and that may seem him an improver.

SELECTIONS:  MAJOR LINCOLN (3), LITTLELIONELJAMES (6), MADAM WEST (4), BLUE BLOODZ (9)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR LINCOLN (3) to win.
