Gold Coast meeting transferred to Polytrack

19 August 2025

Racing Queensland confirms that the race meeting scheduled for the course proper at the Gold Coast on Saturday, September 13 has been transferred to the Polytrack.

The transfer has been deemed necessary with a view to adopting a conservative approach to a return to racing on the course proper at Aquis Park following the track’s annual renovation period and leading into the club’s Pink Ribbon metropolitan fixture on Saturday, September 20.

The transfer is to ensure the track is given the standard week’s rest prior to the Pink Ribbon metropolitan meeting.

The recent annual renovation works have progressed well and the club looks forward to the return to racing on the course proper on Saturday 30 August 2025.

The new program is:

  • Benchmark 70 Handicap, 1540m, $28k;
