Form Analysis: Redcliffe November 24

RACE 1 

ROCK HAMMER (5) impressed last start when scoring a dominant win leading all of the way at Albion Park over the 2138. He shouldn’t find this race any tougher and he generally does his best work when able to find a position up on speed which he should be able to do from a front row draw in this race.

B MAC C (8) returns in this race having not started since late October. He was racing consistently having run placings in his last two starts. He is generally a horse that runs well when driven for his sit sprint capacity which he looks likely to get the opportunity to do in this race.

SPLASHNDASH (7) should secure a good run through on the back of Rockaway Beach. He ran well two starts ago when finishing second to Cedar Creek Falls in solid time at this track.

ROCKAWAY BEACH (1) ran poorly last start when securing a good run and being well beaten over the 2280 at this track. He has been struggling in recent starts but was more competitive three starts ago and a similar effort could see him thereabouts in this field.

RACE 2 

TAYLORS FOUR (1) isn’t a horse with much gate speed but with the benefit of the inside draw at the 2040 start point she may be able to drive through and lead which would see hard to beat in this field. She has run well previously over this track and trip.

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (7) should get a good run through on the back of Taylors Four. She led over the 1780 last start and was well beaten running eighth in what might’ve been a stronger race. She should get a good run and be hard to hold out.

JACKA COOPER (5) returns from a spell in this race and doesn’t draw favourably. He was racing in slightly stronger company last time in and should be thereabouts in this race with the right run.

ROCKTIME (9) was running on well last start when getting into fourth behind Our Dickie Bart. He should get a good run again in this race and be running into it late.

RACE 3

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (8) ran well last start when running into second behind the in form Erasmus. He should get a good run through early and if the race is run to suit he can be running into it late.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (9) returns in this after nearly a month between runs. She was well beaten last start in what was seemingly a slightly stronger race taken out by Fly Burra.

KEAYANG TARA (1) has an ideal draw in this race giving her options in the early stages. She took on what was seemingly a much stronger race at Albion Park when being well beaten by Prospectus. She should be hard to beat. 

BOKHARI (7) should get a good run through on the back of Keayang Tara in this race. She hasn’t had much luck in recent starts when being caught wide at a crucial stage last start and getting a long way back in her start prior.

RACE 4 

DASHNDOT (3) ran an improved race last start finishing third behind Convair Hustler. She may be able to press onto the lead this time which would likely see her hard to run down having proved successful at this track and trip in the past.

GRACENAVA (10) was well beaten last start in a race that Prospectus was able to run good time for the grade zipping home a quick last half. She seems to go well at this track and distance and should be hard to hold out if the race is run to suit.

CRIME TIME (4) was left without cover last start in a race taken out by Get Me Outta here. He should find this a bit easier than his latest outing and should run a more competitive race. 

AUNTY FRANCES (9) was unsuitably left without cover last start in a race taken out by stablemate Man Of Action battling away for fourth. If she can obtain a more favourable run into the race she should be running on late.

RACE 5

OCTOBER RACKETEER (9) ran on strongly from back in the field in a race taken out by Lulu Lucifer last time out. He appears to draw to do no work early and should be close enough in the run. If he can obtain the right run into the race he should be hard to hold out. 

EXPLANATION NOTED (1) is having her first start for a new stable in this race and may be an improver. She took on a stronger race last start where the winner rated fast time for the grade. She has previously run well leading and she may look to lead and run well again. 

SHADYS DELIGHT (7) should get a good run through on the back of Explanation Noted who is likely to want to hold a forward position in this race. He was able to score a good win five starts ago securing a good run 1 out 1 back and running on best to score.

BURNS BAY (5) ran a better race two starts ago when finishing third behind Erasmus at Marburg. He ran well again last start when finishing fourth at this track and a similar effort should see him competitive in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: OCTOBER RACKETEER (9) to win.

RACE 6 

OUTER CHANGE (1) should be able to hold a forward position in this race drawing alongside one of the gate speed horses. She was able to lead four starts ago and turned around her form scoring an easy win. She may be able to bounce back again if able to lead in this race. 

DONT FEAR FOR ME (7) should get a good run through on the back of Outer Change. His best is good enough for a race of this nature and if the gaps appear late he could be running into it.

HES REGAL (5) generally likes to press forward and look for a prominent position in his races. He was able to secure a good run on the pegs at Albion Park five starts ago and ran on best to score a strong win.

JUST PINNY (6) ran on strongly last start at this track over the 2040 to be narrowly beaten by Highview Sadler. He may be better suited back to the 1780 in this race and with the right run into it could be hard to hold out late.

RACE 7

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (8) didn’t have much luck last start when securing a good run on the leaders back before being dragged out of the race at a crucial stage. He draws to do no work early in this race and if the race is run to suit he should be running into it late.

TAKE COURAGE (9) led and copped strong pressure a majority of the race battling on strongly to run a close up second. She is unlikely to be able to lead again but with a similar effort to last start she should be hard to hold out late. 

SUNNY COVE (10) led and won four starts ago at Marburg before heading out for a spell. He has been well beaten since returning from a spell but has been taking on slightly stronger races and should be more suited in this field.

WILLROBY (3) has had three runs back from a spell and should be working back into full fitness. If he could press forward and hold a prominent position he could prove hard to beat in a race of this nature.

RACE 8

SMARTER THAN YOU (5) drops a long way back in class in this race having contested much stronger races in recent outings. He was beaten just 11.1 metres two starts ago in a mile rate of 1.53.8 at Albion Park. He looks a near certainty in this race. 

SKYLAR BREE (1) was able to secure a good run last start at Marburg and battled away well for a placing at Marburg. She should secure a good run again from a favourable draw and looks to have strong place claims.

WECANONLYDREAM (9) returns from a spell in this race after a moderate trial at Marburg. He should get a good run off the speed and can be running into it late. 

LUCKY TO BE A LAAG (3) was well beaten last start at Marburg when not having a great deal of luck in running. With a more favourable run this time she can figure in the minor money.

RACE 9

MULLUM JUDITH (3) led three starts ago and wasn’t beaten far when running third. She has the key draw advantage on her main rivals in this race and looks likely to be able to run to the lead and should prove hard to run down from there.
 
MIGHTY IDEAL (4) was left in the breeze last start and could only manage third after starting a short priced favourite in a race they just rated very moderate time. He will need to bounce back to be a winning hope this time from an awkward draw. 

SAINT MAHARG (7) worked hard to find the lead last start and was just outstayed by Sassaba who was able to sit without cover and prove too good. Looks to have drawn quite awkwardly in this race inside the back row and will need luck at the right time to get into the clear.

TINTIN IN LOGAN (8) led last start and finished a well beaten second behind Diamantina Daisy at this track. She should get a reasonable run through in this race and can be running into it late.
